Yep the 50s - if you haven't gotten into menopause yet then have that checked (it's a specific blood test you have to ask for) - that's a biggie on adding weight.
Good luck and as Jumpup said - you can lose it - just takes more work.

Surprise, surprise! Welcome to your 50s! Mother Nature has some pretty nasty tricks up her sleeve, LOL.
You CAN get rid of those 8 pounds and inches, but now you have to work at it a little harder. You have come to the right place!

I don't understand I turned 50 in Dec. have always been in good (decent) shape, haven't changed my eating or workout routine and overnite I put on 8 lbs that I can not get rid of and within a month almost 2" in my thighs and butt. Has this ever happenend to anyone? or is this what it is to get older?
