I just ran a half in Sept, one of these days I will run this. I will keep him and everyone in our prayers.
Oh wow, that would certainly be an emotional run! I wish I lived closer.
Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength
I must learn to love the fool in me- the one who feels too much, talks too much, takes too many chances, wins sometimes and loses often, lacks self-control, loves and hates, hurts and gets hurt, promises and breaks promises, laughs and cries...
To the runners on the team...
This year's Columbus Marathon is being sponsored by Nationwide Children's Hospital and each mile will have a child battling a number of illnesses as their Miracle Mile Child.
I will be located at mile 18 with Nick Sawchuk who is the son of one of my closest friends and has brain cancer. His mile will be decorated with oragami butterflies. Please wave to Nick if you happen to be running the entire marathon or stop by to say hi if you are running the half.
For more information please visit the link below. www.nationwidechildrens.org.kintera.
Thanks and good luck to all of the runners.
Livestrong! Ride hard!
I will be riding 180 miles in August to fight cancer. Help support my ride!
