Any amount of swimming is sure better than none, Heather. And Gioriana, keep working that program. I remember barely being able to do 25 yards and just kept at it increasing the distance and intensity each time. Eventually, I got there.
Speaking of swimming, after a tough night of threshold testing on the computrainer last night, I did 3,350 yards of swimming this AM. No rest for the wicked, then.....And I have tennis tonight. So tired! Just wanna go to bed!
I'm sorry to hear that you guys are suffering from anxiety, that is just so hard to combat. Hopefully it will leave you soon!
I continue to work on my tile job...man, why did I want a master bedroom with an office? I'll be tiling for days! I'm taking a lunch break, but I have to have everything cleaned up by 2:30 when the kids our out of school because I told them I'd take them up to Pismo Beach to hit the surf shops. I have to run out to BevMo to but little alcohol bottles for my daughters 21st birthday. I'm having a fun day!
“Life is not a journey to the grave with intentions of arriving safely in a pretty well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming ... WOW! What a ride!” ~Author Unknown
I too feel an sense of anxiety because there are a bunch of things that need to be done, and I feel like I'm missing something even though I'm not.
On an a better note, I'm feeling my swimming has improved a lot since the beginning of the year. I'm comfortable in the deep pool. I can swim several laps freestyles and backstroke. I can jump into the pool from the side, the low board, and the high board. I'm still working on the breast stroke and fly and getting a non-flop dive, but I'll get there.
I need something to help me gauge progress, so I'm starting the zero to 1650 that someone posted on here once. I'm good for the first week, and now I'm going to try going for 200 yards straight for week 2, let's see how that goes...
