I just got Chef Dave's May newsletter and in it he mentioned recipes for those in the early food stages are now on his website. You will probably need to join to view them. I have a number of his cookbooks.

I like Syntax Nectar - every flavor I have had from them has been delicious.

My best advice for protein drinks is to try using a drink that is similar to the type of drinks you used to drink. For me I liked decaf coffee and I like protein coffee drinks.

If you like juice or pop look at the fruit or cola flavors.

If you like chocolate shakes or hot chocolate then look at chocolate protein drinks.

Nectar even has a lemon iced tea for those that like iced tea.

You are more likely to want to drink flavors that are familiar to you.

I also recommend checking out either chefdave.com (or it may be .org) and www.theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.co
m Both Chef Dave and Michelle have some great shake recipes.

I had my one week post check up this afternoon and it went great, but I am just curious as to what everyone else used for their first protein shakes after surgery. I really like the EAS Myoplex lite, but it is not on my "approved list". Any tips???? Thanks
