I am really looking at Implanon. I considered an IUD, but they say they are very painful to have placed if you have never had children. Ultimately, I want my tubes tied, but I don't think my insurance company will spring for 2 surgeries in 1 year.

I had high hopes for Nuvaring, but I was in that small percentage that has an allergic reaction to it. It gave me mild burning followed by severe raging sensation that went away right after removal. I am also allergic to copper, latex, and certain dyes and plastics.
On a bright note, thank goodness we live in a country where we have the freedom to use birth control and choose what to do or not do with our own bodies.
You rest you rust.
