Congrats on your surgery! Get that water in!

I didn't want to eat at first either. Nothing looked good. Luckily I figured out how to make some things interesting.

It's so wonderful to read everyone's posts. I am getting so close and it's comforting to see everyone's happy posts right out of the hospital. Gives me hope that I'm going to be just fine.

I used a neat tool called a MotivAider. It is an alarm the vibrates in your pocket and you set it for say 15 minutes (or however many minutes you want). At 15 minutes it vibrates for three seconds and re-sets itself for another 15 mintutes. It continues until you turn it off.

It was designed for people with attention deficit disorder to help them learn to focus for a short periods of time. Then is was used for mildly autistic people and now people with brain damage or who have had strokes.

I bought it online and it was expensive but well worth the cost.

Glad you are doing well post surgery! In the early days post-surgery it is normal not to be hungry and to have to remind yourself to eat. It is kind of a side effect of healing from the surgery. Soon (in a couple of months) you will be back to normal and no longer need to remind yourself to eat.
