Hey, y'all. My nutritionist shared some recipes for shakes with me and I just wanted to share the one I just made. It is AMAZING! She teaches us to freeze a shake (I used chocolate) in ice cubes. (I used an Atkins shake to do this)
Chocolate Coffee Iced Shake 1/2 tsp decaf instant coffee 6 ounces low fat milk chocolate protein powder (appropriate amount for 8 oz. liquid) 3 protein ice cubes Blend and enjoy!!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Shake 3 protein ice cubes 6 oz low fat milk chocolate protein powder (appropriate amount for 8 oz. liquid) 1 TBS reduced fat peanut butter Blend and enjoy!!
Replace PB with 1/2 banana for a banana shake, or add both!!
Add 1/4 tsp Almond flavor or cinnamon for a new zing!
Or, go crazy! I did a chocolate peanut butter coffee shake!! Just thought these might help break up the monotony! :) Hope someone out there enjoys!
