I revived my wii jog in the mail today. Its small about the side of a deck of cards. It claims it can make just about any game with a nunchuck an exercise game. You connect the device into the remove then connect the device to your belt and the basically your nunchuck won’t operate unless you are walking. So if you want your character to move you have to move. The game I tried it on was LEGO Pirate of the Caribbean. While I often forgot to walk at fist it took about 5 minutes for it to become second nature, at first however id get caught up in the game and forget to walk and my character wouldn’t move. It has one button and a pedometer and a calorie counter (I wouldn’t count on the calorie counter working because there is no way to enter any information). What I liked is that after getting a bit burned out on other games I should do a bit of exercise while playing games that are more fun. The negative is it only tracked steps and so I’m not sure it would be much good for your “main” wii work out but it’s was fun and did add a bit of exercise to game that I would be sitting on the sofa playing. I think that the steps could be tracked and you could also track other ways such as by time or using some sort of fitness tracking device. Overall I found the device fun and worth the money. I will use it again so I can play some other games that I want to play and then not feel guilty for sitting around playing games.
I have the wii fit...and you can go for a jog on it, but I think you might be talking about something a little more specifically focused on jogging? I like the jog on the wii fit plus, so I think if there is something that caters to that alone, it will probably be even better! Post an update to let us know how you like it!
Are you talking about the Wii, or the WiiU (I only have a Wii)
