Just in case anyone else is having trouble, make sure that the wiimote is facing the right way. The cord for your wrist should be at the bottom and the sensor part at the top. I found it easier to put it in upside down, but it affects your score in a bad way.

Hi there! I am pretty new to the whole Wii fitness process and my sister bought me a Wii Zumba...the first time I used it, I had a friend with me and she helped me get the remote tucked into the belt...on the right side like it says in the instructions. I did pretty good that time and got lots of feedback...zumba, perfect, etc. I was able to get like 3 or 4 stars too.
Due to an arm/shoulder issue, I had an easier time putting it on my left side when I was having to do it myself. I noticed though that when I was working out last night and this a.m., it didn't give me a whole lot of feedback and I wasn't every able to get more than the one star on it. Does anyone know if that could be because I wore the remote/belt on the left instead of the right?
I would appreciate any tips/advice you can provide. THANKS!
