I am anxious to buy Exerbeat soon. I am in the Wii Safari and WIO Dare challenges. So, I want to use variety of exercises so I won't get bored.

Also make sure your batteries are fairly decent. I found if they are getting low it doesn't pick your movements up as well.

Just make sure you hold the remotes correctly. It will show you in the begining. There is a tutorial to get started. I have opened up almost everything so I just use video mode now and don't use the remotes. Pumps up the workout a bit not having to worry about the remotes.

After reading about Exerbeat here, I also ordered a copy. So helpful to have other folks posting about programs they like and find effective! I really appreciate your sharing information like this. I'll be trying it today for the first time....any particular hints on getting off on the right foot ?

I got my copy on Friday. I haven't used it yet. Super busy weekend but I'm hoping to be able to get started on it tonight. I'm excited about trying it!

Glad I could help Amy. It took me like 4 days until I finally figured it out. I thought I wasted my money on this lol

Just remember, so you don't get confused like I did...after you finish your first time around the world to let the credits keep rolling...don't stop them. Once they are done, then you will get a little crown with a number 1 that means you have been around the world once and are on your second trip. I didn't know that and I kept trying to stop the credits and kept having to go the same amount :)

I do log my exerbeat exercise into SP, though. I manually entered it and put the time and the calories that exerbeat tells me I burned. I do that with Wii plus routines, too, because the calories are more calculated to my current weight.

No it doesn't but you can either wear a heart rate monitor to check your cal burned or use what shows up on the game.

Just ordered the Exerbeat... Does SP count any of this in fitness?

My Exerbeat came in this weekend and I love it! The Mii walking around the world does slow you down a bit but I kept moving while it was walking and it wasn't so bad! Can't wait to get home and play it some more!
Thanks for all the great info! Like KATZ25, I too am trying to get back to normal after knee surgery and looking for something that doesn't aggravate my knees as much! Sounds like I will definitely be ordering!
Thanks everyone - I went to amazon and ordered it and it has already shipped. Can't wait to get it.

I agree with everything everyone has said. It is definitely worth the money for the wide range of activities it has to offer. I just got it for Xmas and am obsessed. I am loving the Karate right now!

If you have enough unlocked, you don't have to walk after each exercise. You can pause the game and say to cancel exercise. It doesn't get counted on the game( calories, time and high score) but you still do the exercise. I have everything unlocked and only do the walking thing if I get high score. Pam

ExerBeat has some good calorie burning exercises on it and as Pam said, it is inexpensive. You get a lot of choices for your money. The only annoying part is the little mii that walks around the world between your workouts. I would just like to continue the exercise. When you get longer segments unlocked, though, this is not so annoying. Even the step aerobics would not be hard on your knee as the big movements are with your arms.

It's a very fun Wii game that can also give you a great workout. There's boxercising and karate that would be easy on your knees, and different dance games. Every one in my family likes it, from 3 year old grandson to myself. It's not too expensive and has tons of fun things to do. It's best to hare 2 remotes but it doesn't need the blnce board. pam

I've had knee surgery and lots of drama in my life and been away for quite awhile. Can someone please tell me what Exerbeat is, sounds interesting.
