Mine seem to be within 1 pound of each other.

It's a new day -- DIVE right in.

Something you might want to consider. Our weight fluctuates all during the day. The best way to get a true reading is first thing when you get up. Even an hour later and the weight is different.

I agree with SassyJay about picking a scale and sticking to it. It's hard to find 2 scales that agree with each other, but as long as they correspond (both scale and Wii show that you lost 2 pounds, even though the resulting number is different) you can use either one as a guide.

It always seems funny to me when I have been using the wii-fit for about half an hour, and it tells me that my weight has gone up 4 pounds since I started the session.

My Wii and bathroom scales are reasonably close, given I weigh on the bathroom scale before breakfast/coffee and on the wii a couple hours later, when I'm ready for exercise. I have the Wii on carpet, but do have the risers on. Yours shows a big difference and I wouldn't be happy, either, but just disregard one of them and track the other. The actual number doesn't matter as much as noticing the up and down part. You are losing! Keep up the good work.

I weighed in on my bathroom scale and then the WII this morning and they were within a few ounces. I use the risers and have it on an area rug over hardwood floor.

I have long believed in picking a scale and sticking to it.

My bathroom scale never agrees with my doctor's scale never agrees with my Wii scale. So I choose to "believe" my bathroom scale because it is the one that I use most often.

It's not so much that I truly believe, but that I use that as my point of reference. As long as my point of reference number gets incrementally smaller each time I get on that scale (don't I wish?) I'm a happy gal.

Of course, I only get on my bathroom scale second thing in the morning. First, I have to go to the bathroom. After three meals and 8 glasses of water, I'm pretty sure the resulting number would not please me. And it's all about me, doncha know?

I agree with Jan. My board is actually very accurate; I do use the riser feet on it. Good luck & congrats on losing the 4 lbs!!!

I have had that happen before. If you are weighing on carpet, be sure to have the risers on the feet. If it keeps on, what I did was to see if it stayed consistent on how much it was off and just figured the difference.
