I like Just Dance 1 and 2, the Michael Jackson Experience, the EA Active Series (they all have different workouts so it's not redundant to have more than one) and Gold's Gym Dance Workout. I'm not a huge fan of Wii Fit Plus, and the Biggest Loser game is just annoying -- we're planning on trading it in at Game Stop. I also have 10 Minute Workout or something like that which is just ok. They all have different benefits -- I actually kind of like the lack of continuity for the Just Dance/Michael Jackson games because it allows me to squeeze in a workout in between chores. For example, if I'm making dinner, I can dance to a few songs, then check on dinner, then come back and dance a few more. Since I work long hours, it's crucial for me to be able to squeeze in workouts into small periods of time. If I have a lot of time I just go to the gym.
I would suggest picking something that you think you will find most enjoyable and least likely to get bored with. We have the Biggest Loser, Just Dance 2, and Golds Gym Shape Boxing. My husband didn't feel particularly challenged by any of them. We used The Biggest Loser and each lost ~ 30 lbs in 12 weeks...but then it got boring. I personally really like the Gold's Gym Boxing game, but I like that style work out personally. After being at this for a bit I like to have a couple things to pick from so I don't burn out and make excuses not to work out. A lot of people on here talk about Walk Out and they seem to like it, but I haven't tried it personally. Good luck with your choice!
My vote is for either Just Dance 2 or Walk It Out.
I use the Nonstop Shuffle option on JD2 and while you do have to wait between songs for the next song to load, it's only for about 15 seconds and you don't have to actually select song in between. I agree with AmyLou that there's too much stopping between songs on the original Just Dance, though.
I just got Walk It Out about 6 weeks ago, but I have to say I'm addicted. My 10 year old daughter just started on it the other day and she's constantly walking on it...the time flies and you get a good walk in before you know it! I also remove all of the slow songs and work up a good sweat. But overall, I think I get a better cardio workout with JD2.
I've never used Zumba or the Gold's Gym games, but I'm sure those are great too. Decisions, decisions...

The Just Dance games are a really good workout. The downside with them is there is not smooth flow. You have to stop after every song and pick another. Zumba is an awesome workout. You can do tutorials to learn the steps. There are classes and workouts on there that transition very well. You are always moving. I really like the Gold's Gym games. The Cardio Workout focuses mainly on boxing. The Dance workout combines dance with boxing. The Dance workout can be hard to follow as the instructions are very quick. I have found using it several time a week I am learning the steps much better. I like the Ea Active series. I only have the original right now but am looking into buying one of the new versions. The only concern I have with the EA active series is it is very particular on remote postitioning. You can do the exercises all you want but if the remotes are not positioned correctly it will not pick up your movements.
Walk It Out is another great game. It is all walking. You can walk anywhere your Wii sensor will pick you up. I have all the slow songs turned off and can really work up a sweat with it. Some of the songs are fast enough you can incorporate a light jog in with your walking.
I am not a fan of the Biggest Loser workouts. I could not ever get the Wii to pick up what I was doing so it never showed I was working very hard or buring many calories.

I have just dance 2, ea active 2 and golds gyms dance cardio. My favorite so far is ea active 2. The only thing I don't like about it is the monitors you have to wear. I have gotten the best workout with it . I also like just dance 2 because its something we can do as a family. We can play for an hour and sweat our butts off and not even realize that hour has gone by.
I use Just Dance and Just Dance 2. I really enjoy them. I am really huffng and puffing after I get done. I have heard that Zumba is a lot of fun and you get a good work out from it too. I am going to check that one out next. I am not sure about some of the others mentioned. But Just Dance 1&2 are the ones I use to get moving. Maybe for Mothers day I will ask for a new game...hmmmm. I will be checking back on this thread to see what others have to say so I can chose wisely for the next game too!

Hey guys! My bf bought me a wii for my bday. I bought a couple of weeks ago wii fit plus. I am also looking for another game that I feel i can get a good burn with. I am looking at ea sports, biggest loser, zumba, just dance 1 or 2, golds gym... but i just don't know which one would be the best. Can you please tell me what you think is the best for you. I don't want to go waste money on something im not going to feel is worth the money. Please help!
