I think I would have been upset about that myself. I'm glad you figured everything out. My DH has a habit of doing things like that on me too. Gotta love them for that. emoticon . It keeps me on my toes.

I think I’ve got the mystery solved. Operator error.

I had not touched the Wii since yesterday, and was unaware that DH had put a DVD in the Wii. He meant to put the DVD in the DVD player, removed it from the Wii and did just that. Then, he put the “Wii Fit” disc into the Wii, rather than the “Wii Fit Plus”. Like I said, I had not touched the Wii at all since yesterday, and didn’t know that he had either.

So, this morning, after freaking out a bit (just a bit), posting on several message boards, searching the internet for help and calling my brilliant, tech-savvy DS, I put the “Wii Fit Plus” disc into the Wii, turned on the game and:
Hallelujah!
My pig was bronze again!
All of my high scores reappeared!
All of my games and favorite exercises were unlocked!

Life was good again!

did anyone mess with the data management system within the wii system settings ( bottom left corner on the main menu)? that's where data can be erased, although it is possible to erase a player's info from the game. it's possible that the data didn't load correctly, but I'm not sure if you've recreated the data, as that might have overwritten the data that was there.

assuming that no changes were made and saved in the game, try restarting the game, restarting the system, possibly unplugging the power for 10 seconds then starting up again. if you haven't started the saved data over and that doesn't work, you could try calling nintendo for help, as well.

The only time I have had Wii Fit delete data was when I deleted a character (eg my ex-boyfriends Mii/ character profile). I have never had a problem with it otherwise. I am sorry to hear that that happened to you though!

Oh No!!! Sorry to hear that. I hope it doesn't happen to me when I get to that stage. I'm just starting over with my Wii. Haven't touched it in a while. I know it's very upsetting. I would be upset too but as you said, it's the purpose of the exercise that counts and how you feel about it. Maybe someone else will have an answer for you.

I trained with my Wii Fit Plus yesterday - my pig (minute counter) had just turned bronze, meaning that I had 10 hours of training done, and I was happy.

High scores on many activities - ahh, life was good (and sweaty).

I started Wii Fit Plus today, and all of my training data has been erased from 1.5 months ago until today!

Do you know why this might happen and if there is anything that can be done to restore this data?

I know that this is not a big deal relative to real life, but I'm feeling rotten right now that most of my high scores and credits are gone.

I also know that the fitness is a gift to my body, whether or not I get credit from a machine. I'm just upset by this!!!!
