Has anyone tried Exerbeat? I got it from amazon for less than $20 and it's a great game! It's got a little of everything: dance, yoga/pilates, aerobics, karate, boxing...and the mini games are really fun. I haven't played it too much yet but it's a great deal for the price!

When he does zumba with me, I play in the multi player/party mode. I use one remote, he uses the other and waves his arms and upper body around

or you can do what my hubby does when I do zumba-

He has bad ankles and hips. He takes the second remote and shakes and moves his arms and upper body.

I will try and get that game because currently I do zumba with a group, $5.00 per session and that gets expensive. I will look for the cheer's DVD to use on my own time.

Play in the zumba party mode. Do the 20 minute sessions in that mode. As you advance, you get to open up other venues for the class mode.

It works on the honor system-move up when you feel like you are ready.

I haven't tried golds gym dance (can't afford it right now) but I can't get enough of zumba or walk it out.

I did pick up a copy of we cheer 2 at a yard sale for $2.50. You do need 2 remotes and it's a huge learning curve BUT it's got some great dance moves. Mainly it's a wonderful upper body workout. I suggest it for people with back and knee problems or just want a good upper body workout (though it's a good all over workout too if you do it right..)

It's for anyone who wishes they could have been a cheer leader but wasn't or wishes to relive their cheer leading glory days.

I hold the remote when doing the zumba, the belt seems to block the signal from going through. My question is, how do you get the game to register and check off that you completed and workout (like the beginner 20 mins) do you just advance on your own and it just automatically opens up new routines or what? any tips and hints would be greatly appreciated.

GGDW is Gold's Gym Dance Workout. It combines Latin dance, boxing, and some fun games into a workout. It is pretty good. I have WIO (Walk It Out). I like it a lot. You can really work up a sweat with that one as well. I have all the slow songs turned off to keep up a good pace. I also have EA Active. I have the original one and more workouts. Those are great. I do have a Wii board. Wii Fit Plus has a lot of fun games that work you out more than you would think.

I have both Zumba and GG Dance Workout. Zumba's tutorials are easier to follow. GGDW instructions are very minimal. I do have trouble with the remote in the Zumba belt picking up my movements some of the time. I definitely enjoy both of them. I am getting much better at GGDW just because I have done it so much. I think either one can be considered a great workout.

I love the Just Dance and Walk it Out. I just got the DanceDance Revolution, but I can't really do it yet. I think I'll have to put it aside for a while. I spend at least an hour on Wii Fit Plus when I work out and I have a great time.

I do the combined workouts so I pick the ones I want and it just runs till I'm done.

I have zumba, golds gym cardio (the emphasis is on boxing) and just dance 2. However, my Wii broke and I am sending it off to be repaired, so I will not get to exercise using any of my Wii games. I'm so bummed. I just got the zumba game. So I will be walking mostly for the next month I guess. I may pull out some of my regular workout DVDs if there is enough room in my living room to use them. I really need to get a DVD player for my game room because there is plenty of room there to exercise!

I do not have the Zumba but I do have the Just Dance 2 and the Gold's Gym Cardio Dance.
I hate to admit it but I have not done either one yet. I got hooked on all the bowling games that I seem to keep doing them. I am going to start doing the Dance ones. Thank You all for
stating why you like them. This is a great help.

I love Zumba- and right now that is my only dance game. I keep looking for the just dance, and have heard if the gold's gym one- someone said there is more to that one than dance? Can you give me some more info please? I'm always looking for new workout games.

Thanks AmyLou. I'll have to break out Just Dance and give it a try. I haven't seen the snowball fight on Wii Fit Plus, but will look for it. Haven't played Wii Sports in a while either. I think we have enough stuff to keep us all busy!

Just Dance is good kid's game I think. My daughter enjoys it. Also I cannot dance at all I and I really like it. Wii Sports is a fun one for kids. My daughter and I like to do the snowball fight on Wii Fit Plus as well.

You need at least one day of rest and maybe even two depending on how you feel. Over training can lead to injury so be sure to give your body a chance to rest and rebuild.

It's good to mix things up because your muscles will get used to the same routine and your training will be less effective. I haven't tried the dance games because I have two left feet and no sense of rhythm. I'm envious of all of you who can dance!

I have Just Dance. Is this a game that a 4 year old would enjoy? Our grandson is going to spend a week with us next month and I want to keep him busy! Any other suggestions?

I also love GGDW. I have Zumba but have not been able to do it yet. I also have the Just Dance games. I would say just mix things up so you don't burn out. Do your scheduled 3x week workout on GGDW and then on the off days if you feel energetic find another workout on one of the games you have if not just do something light. It is ok to take a day or two off to let your body rest. Just listen to what your body is telling you.

Hi there. I don't have the Zumba but have the Just Dance. Kids play that the most though. I LOVE my Golds Gym Dance. I can personalize my own workouts. I have saved a 10, 15, and 30 min boxing one for me to do in the mornings. I do what workout I feel like when its that time. I burnt out too in Nov and Dec. I now do either my Golds Gym Cardio or Golds Gym Dance in the AM and in the evenings I do the Xbox kinect Your Shape. Have fun and good luck to you!!

Well let's see love Zumba already! Love Just Dance 2 and now my new addiction is Gold's Gym Cardio Dance! Wow this game is awesome I have a personal trainer, and I also get to see the calories I burned so no more guessing! I love it I'm telling you all will love it to! So get it and you will thank me later! It's a great game, and now I have to decide how to enjoy all these games in my routine every wk because with Just Dance 2 I have to reach 2,000 sweat points a wk and that takes awhile, with Zumba I do that now 3 times a week for 20 mins, and now with my new addiction Gold's Gym Cardio Dance my personal trainer has me scheduled 3 times a wk but I don't want to burn out to quickly and I most definitely need a few days off! I am new to working out consistently! So my Wii friends what's your suggestions to my dilemma? Would love to hear your feedback!
Thanks,
