Thanks! I actually have just dance 2. I have played it a few times and have really enjoyed it. I love dancing. It's just my motivation is lacking. I am committing to starting on Monday to get it in gear. We will have company all weekend and I plan to play some games with them in hopes that will get me moving.
I'm unable to attend a "real" zumba class because the closest place that offers one is a 20 mile drive (one way) and I don't have the gas money to do that several times a week. However, I LOVE the zumba for wii. I'm totally addicted. Haven't lost any weight with it yet, but at least I'm doing it twice a week (along with other workouts...) and I'm having so much fun with my wii and the workouts I have for my wii.
Hi! I have been using wii zumba for the last several weeks 4 times a week. I'm completely addicted. There are tutorials that teaches you how to do the steps. Then there are the parties and classes. I haven't figured out the difference between the two yet... But with the parties, when you complete it, it opens up the next level. There are two beginner classes that are 20 minutes each. There are other classes that are 40 minutes and the zumbathon is an hour long. I've only done the 20 minute beginner classes... I'm still working on the moves... You definitely don't have to have previous dance experience, but you do have to move move move!!!
I just signed up for a 10 week class of "real" zumba. I can't wait for it to start and I'm looking forward to burning some serious calories!

I love Zumba for the Wii and I agree, don't start unless you have to time shower afterwards. I have no previous exprience with Zumba so I'm pretty certain I am doing some of the foot work wrong, but I am still getting a wicked workout. I also probably look like a spaz to any of the neighbors or anyone walking by...need to remember to pull the curtains!!
I was also wondering if anyone had tried it yet. I've been to a few Zumba classes and I also have Zumba CDs, but really want to try Zumba for Wii. I went to our local WalMart last weekend and they did not have any. I guess I'll try a local game shop. Maybe this is something that will get me up and moving. I'm really having a hard time starting to exercise. I have all kinds of CDs and have Wii fit plus and a lot of the other sports on Wii, but I just cannot get motivated to exercise! I soooo need to change that!
I love Wii Zumba, too! At first I didn't use it much because of the belt you put the remote in ~ we have the extra motion sensor and the cover on ours and it was a pain to take it all off to put it in the belt but now I just slip the remote in between me & the belt rather than using the pocket. It stays put pretty well and I don't have to take everything off.

If you haven't tried Zumba for Wii than I highly recommend you do because it's fun and you will workout hard and sweat alot! Be prepared for showers after every time you play this game! I love it! I've personally taken the classes and the game is just like it! Go out and get this and you won't regret it! You can thank me later!
