I personnaly don't have the balance board,u don't need it for the game. Most of the excercises u don't even need the remote. The only thing I've noticed is that if u don't use the remote for a while,a message comes up to push a button on the remote. Other than that,I haven't noticed any probs, and even that doesn't happen that often.
I read the reviews on amazon and people were talking about the game not seeing movement and sinking with accessorys. and then the board ask to be resinked when it sit idal for a while. Any problems like that?

I love Active2 also! I like the Mountian boarding and biking. I love that I don't the controller for everything and that I can use handweights instead of the resistance bands. I just wish that there was a way that you could substitute different exercise in the preprogramed workouts. Some of the things I can't do because of a really bad knee. I know that I can uncheck them, but I wish I could exchange them for something else.
Overall, it is my favorite workout game.

glad to b part of this group! just wanted to rave about my fav wii game...ea sports interactive 2! being overweight and struggling with the confidence to join a gym and wrkout in front of others, this game saved my life! i have been saying forever that i needed to start doing workouts that were hardcore and drove me to my extreme. i am a very self conscious person so the idea of going to a gym and getting a trainer, was too overwhelming for me and was just something i knew i would never stick to. then a colleague at work told me about this game. i ran out and got it right away. i love it!!! the workouts push u to ur limits, yet u can do it in the privacy of ur own home! i have been doing it everyday for a month, and still get just as excited to do it everyday! and if u r a person who has a problem keeping occupied by excercise, like myself, this is def the game for u! soooo many different options of fun activities. my personal fav is the boxing and basketbell excercises...just thought id share and maybe help someone else find their"perfect fit" of exercise:)
