Good luck finding them. I went to 2 cities and could not find walk it out or zumba. I even tried the used game stores and the video store. No luck, they said to try back by Jan and they may have the Zumba then... but said my best bet for Walk it out would be E-bay.
I saw the prices there and will be saving my pennies for a little while.

I've been sidelined. Three year old grandson was practicing with the scissors, on my sensor cord. I'm getting a wireless sensor, but it'll be Friday before I can order it.

I wrote this in the walk it out group too, but maybe some aren't on it so I'll put it here too.

today I was walking with the game running in the background on the wii and the TV set to cartoons for my grandson. When I cam back the game helps in the screen were faded out and I couldn't access the pause function. I found that the buttons on either side of the home button on the remote, can fade out or fade back in the on screen helps.

Also by accident while I was trying to fix the fade out I found that if you push the A and B buttons while moving the remove you can move your view of the scene. you can look to the left or right or up or down, in order to access capsules for music or scenery, trees, cars, houses, etc.

Thanks for the tips. I finally have unlocked 18 songs now. I also walk around the house, although I am watching for the music discs, so I do concentrated on them.

That's a great idea. I've been playing to long each day to get more stuff.

I woke up last night with the screechy voice of one of the singers in my head and I decided that I have to pause when I get tired and want to rest, and go do something else, Those songs are not something I want to make part of my life or thought processes.

I've been walking back and fourth along a particular fragment of route to get the trees and cars and streetlights put in on that section of path.

to much, although I can definitely tell the difference in body and back strength. I love the idea of facebooking while I walk. two games at once? how great would that be? LOL

I also have a plan for my really lazy days. LOL. I just head to the stadium so I'm just walking in an oval (no worrying about where I end up) and take my laptop into the kitchen and plop it on the counter. I've been known to walk and dance in place to rack up steps for half an hour while I play on Facebook or check emails and then when I'm done (or I take a break) I just leave the stadium and either earn more steps the "real" way (actually standing there watching the TV and playing) or spend the steps and turn the game off. :)

If I had a way to put the laptop in view of the TV, I totally would, and I know I'd be on WIO more often, too, LOL!

I usually walk around with the wire from the nunchuck threaded through a metal file clip attached to the top of my pants so it swings freely several inches down (works the best for me) and keep the controller end in my hand or put it on the pocket on the opposite site.

I usually just walk around my (small) house with it or dance around with it. I tried it with my mini trampoline once and it was a lot of fun, and definitely more of a workout (my calves were hurting after 30 minutes of bouncing, lol).

Once you buy a song part it doesn't go away. Once you get all 4 parts of each song it will be added to the play list. When I start an island, I focus on opening routes and buying songs. It gives me more variety with the songs. Better yet....I play the faster paced songs and get to buy more stuff faster!
Good luck!

Each song has 4 parts. The parts come at different times of the day. You can look on Facebook. There is a group for Walk it Out and it gives you cheats as to when things appear.

Advice, please. I did WIO today for about 65 minutes and clicked on almost every music event I could catch and I only unlocked one more song. Will all these I clicked on today stay? And will I be able to add to them??

I'm looking for more songs.

Does anyone use the wii fit board to walk on or do your just walk around your place? I live in a small apartment and was using the wii fit board but it didnt feel right. I like the idea of playing it on a small trampoline.

Not if you click pause and turn off the TV and come back tomorrow and go back to the game. that helps a lot. course today I found all the globes by going back to the map a dozen times. that worked real well. it only took me half an hour to get the rainbow.

In order to get all the rainbows and all the different parts of stuff you have to open all the routes. That's usually one of the first things I do along with collecting the clock pieces.

I love this game. I workout on it about an hour each day and the time just flies by. I'm out of shape enough though where even the slow songs give me a bit of a workout. I like using both slow and fast songs because I use it as an interval workout. I've never had any trouble myself with the nunchuk registering.

I did the same thing when I first got started. Click on the map and it will show you little rainbow striped circles where they are. That should help a lot. When you get used to all the routes, you won't struggule so much.

I'd done around 2 to 3 thousand steps every time I used it, and day before yesterday got anxious to open more routes cause I couldn't find all the rainbow bubbles so I walked almost 12000 steps. now I'm so sore. LOL

never have found all the rainbow bubbles. what should I do and how do you search all the walkways? I'm always lost and just wandering.

Once you get the clock pieces for different times, you can change your time of day and look for more song pieces. Here's a little help....There are time pieces inside the stadium at 3 am that you may miss easily.

I do Walk it Out on a trampoline sometimes to get the heart rate up or I do it at the same time I do Leslie Sansone and that definitely gets the heart rate up. I love watching the Island more than listening to Leslie, but I have her on my computer so I can follow both.

Remember with the clocks, the songs and the constellations, there are always 4 pieces and they come out at different times.

You need to get 4 discs per song. They are not always at the same time or place. Facebook has tips and so does the Walk It Out team.

I just got it recently too and it really seems fun so far. I am still getting used to pointing and clicking while walking. At first I would stress when I missed things, but I learned you can always get them the next time you walk by.

Has anyone found ways to up the intensity of the workout? The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't seem to get my heart rate up. With the Wii Fit free step I put my balance board on a step. I should mention I live in an apartment with thin walls/ceiling so I can't jog or run in place.

Just wondered if there were any suggestions. Thanks!

There is an island map you can use to find your way :) But yes, I was lost for a little while at first too! Now I pretty well know where I'm going. The various areas are very distinct from one another, so once you start building things up, they'll be easy to recognize.

I just got it on Saturday and really like it. My only complaints are the two that Keri listed. (Hard getting the hang of walking and clicking and the nunchuck doesn't always register.) I also have a bit of a hard time figuring my way around the island (same issue with Wii Fit Plus) because I have no sense of direction and get lost, lol. Other than that, it's pretty fun. :)

It is great. You can walk even though the weather outside is lousy or it is dark etc. The nunchuk issue is not a problem if you put it in the pocket of a comfortably loose pair of shorts. I found that it moves just right. You can also set the steps to register in different ways so you can start out easy. I love it!!!

WIO is hugely popular, especially on this team! It's a blast. It keeps you walking because you forget you're walking! I never look at the clock because I'm so focused on the game, lol.

Basically you walk to the beat of the song that is playing; for every successful step on the beat, you get a credit. You spend those credits to buy things on your island (trees, lights, buildings, bridges, new songs, constellations, etc.).

There are two primary complaints that I hear from players, so you can gauge if your parents will have these issues. First, the nunchuk/remote combination doesn't always register. This is true, but it doesn't bother me because more times than not, it is working. Sometimes I get off beat and it doesn't count them, or it won't register my left leg, but again it tends to catch back up when I make more deliberate movements. Second, they have trouble pointing and clicking at things on the screen while walking. It takes some getting used to, that's for sure, but it's not a deal breaker to me (although I know someone who quit playing because she couldn't do it).

I love this game; it's a lot of fun and makes you forget you're exercising.

Walk it Out combines walking and video games. You collect steps then spend them on events, buildings, trees, flowers, etc. to build the island.
It's fun and good exercise. There's a Walk it Out team you should check out too.

After hearing about how successful I've been with working out using the Wii, my mom decided to get my dad one for his upcoming birthday/Hanukkah. They are active but mostly walk for exercise. I was thinking of getting them Walk It Out. For people who have this game, do you like it? I know my mom sometimes does the Leslie Sansone walking videos, is this along the same lines?
