I try to take advantage of the gym after my Physical Therapy twice a week but I primarily use just my Wii (I have health issues wii's pretty easy to do even when I'm not my best)
I go to the gym and use my Wii Fit. We don't have much additional equipment at our house, so the gym provides me with a treadmill and some weights. I do enjoy my Wii Fit, though! The hula hoop is a great ab workout. I'm anxious to check out additional Wii Fit games. I really like the basic ones.
I did the free step for 15 minutes the other night; not realizing how tired I'd be! My goal is to reach 5,000 steps per day and it really helped me out.
Nope, I have enough time to exercise at home, not try to find a gym as well. Besides, a gym costs money. Exercising at home costs nothing.

I belong to a gym and a yoga studio in addition to my Wii. I use the Wii when I can't get to the gym. I find that the amount of calories I burn using EA Active or Wii Fit Plus don't even come close to what I'm able to burn using the machines at the gym.
I go to gym for swimming and treadmill and do the wii at night or when I can't make it to gym

I don't belong to a gym, but I do other exercises besides the Wii. I use my treadmill and weights. I do try to get 15 or more of Wii Fit in a day. I like to use the Wii to warm up and then do my strength training.

I don't go to the gym either. I use my Wii a lot, but I also walk over lunch with a co-worker, walk the dogs at night, and do C25K (I'm on week 2). We'll start biking again soon too. If the weather is bad, I just do my Wii games.
I did just get my Wii disc for Netflix, so I might check out some of the fitness DVDs on there.

No gym here. A few different Wii games & a couple of DVDs. I'm thinking about getting a bike now that the weather is warm. I like the variety, I'm hoping it will keep me motivated to continue incorporating exorcise into my daily routine.

We have an elliptical machine at home. The nearest gym (Bally's) does NOT have professional trainers. There is a 24 Hour Fitness farther away with certified trainers, but I know I would not go that far after about a week.

No gym membership for me either. I use the Wii in addition to my other workouts. I have a treadmill and elliptical machine. I also combine Biggest Loser videos (cardio and strength) and some pilates. I find it easier to be motivated to exercise if I have a wide variety of things.

No gym membership here. I use my ranch work and Wii workouts as my routines. The nearest gym (if I was inclined to pay for it) is about 20 minutes from my home and with kids, work, the ranch etc - I dont have time for a gym. I do my Wii workouts around the rest of my schedule and can do it while being with the family as they are watching tv. I turn the tv to a twin view picture in picture, have the sound functioning on their program and do my thing on the other side. We all are in the same room but doing our thing. I find this very helpful when I am trying to corral my 3 yro long enough for me to get a good workout in. LOL.

I go both to the gym and do my wii workouts.. as far as how much i do on the wii on gym days depends on how i feel after hitting the gym.

I use My Fitness Coach as my main cardio. I do some upper body work using dumb bells I found on Spark, a stregnth DVD and an eleptical machine. I used to go to step aerobics classes but they didn't last long enough( only about 20 min. of actual aerobics). I'm home alone most of the day and self motivated so this doesn't work for everyone.I walk outside, do some Wii fit and stuff too. Pam

I just signed up at SNAPFitness yesterday, for two reasons:
1) Get me out of the house for some ME time (I work full-time plus I'm a mom to a 2 y/o)
2) I want to start focusing on full-body strength training
I could do the Wii for some strength moves, but I know being out of the house and at the gym for it, I will do my FULL routine without being interrupted and be able to increase the weights as I advance. They also have a couple of Woodway Treadmills which significantly reduces the stress placed on joints within the body, which will benefit me.
I still love my Wii games though, and will continue to include them in my routine.

I personally had trouble getting to the gym so I've cancelled memberships and two and different times. Lately I've had trouble getting up to work out on the Wii too but now I have a new plan and a new wake up time and it's working well for me. I don't have the time and motivation to get up and go to a gym and pack my clothes for the day or go home to shower and dress, all before work. I'm finally motivated to use the Wii at home (plus I have a small resistance machine to use). I have several games so I can do a different one almost every day and I love the variety.

I only use the Wii and DVD's now. I do not have a gym membership anymore. I enjoyed going to the gym but it has become alittle to expensive. Slowly but surely the Wii has helped me lose the weight I have.

Which one do you get the better benefit from. My Curves gym closed today and I was wondering if you need to go to a gym for motivation or can the Wii games be used instead of the gym
