I just enter the manual calores under WF. I do the same thing for Walk It Out. The harping really annoys me with these video games, especially Wii fit. I'm going to need to buy a scale once I get pregnant because hearing the fit go "why are you gaining weight" is going to drive me crazy.

I log the total time and total calories in the Cardio section on SP.
It is recommended to exercise at least 30 min a day, 2-3 of those days being strength training. You are right you need to give your muscles time to rest. You should only workout the same muscle group twice a week.
"Some people dream of success, while others wake up and work hard at it."
You can workout everyday, but you shouldn't strength train the same muscles everyday. So if you're just doing hula-hoops and boxing, that's fine. If you're doing lots of lunges, give yourself a day off before doing more lunges, but you can do pushups on the day off, get it?
If you don't want the board to complain that you missed a day, you can just log in for the body test.
Wii Resort is a lot of fun, but only some of the games are really cardio. My husband works up a good sweat with the swordfighting.

I guess it depends on how fit you are. The canoeing has me huffing and puffing in no time and I can work up a sweat bowling by myself. Then there's Super Hula Hoop. I pulled a muscle setting a new record on that. We love Sports Resort.
Remember, nobody can go back to the very beginning and make a brand new start, but anyone can start here and make a brand new end.
There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results."
I post each exercise seperately, but I'm not sure if that is right. You can exercise every day, but if you are using weights, you should alternate the muscles you use. Sport resort is fun, but not a lot of exercise. The resort is on Woo-Hoo island too so it is lots of fun. Pam

1) When you post your Wii Fit activity on the Spark People fitness site, do you post each individual activity or do you post the total time and calories? Also do you divide it up between Cardio (games) and Strength (strength exercises)?
2) My Fit always yells at me because I don't use it every day. I use it every other right now, and am wondering if I should bump it up to every day. I always thought that is bad to workout every day because it doesn't give muscles time to rest. What do you guys do? If you use it every day how do you mix things up?
3) Non-Fit related, I'm thinking of getting Sports Resort...how is that for exercising/burning calories?
