I personally love EA Sports Active... and a lot say the newest "More Active" is even better.

I got a Wii almost 2 years ago for Wii-habilitation for my son's brain injury. I love Wii Fit and Wii Ski, but I haven't tried Wii Fit Plus, Sports Active, My Fitness Coach, and Jillian Michael 2010. Which of these do you think is the most helpful to keep you on track?

Thanks for the info, girls! :) We have what I call a "super remote", which you press one button and all turns on for that activity. So... I'll have to try this out while hubby's around, so he can teach me how to make the switch back to TV without turning off the Wii. ;) I'm excited to try it!

LOL - Looks like we were typing answers at the same time, RAINESSA.

Now that we talked about it, I think today might be a good day to use it. It's a gloomy rainy day here and TV watching sounds good.

Hi FRUMPY2FIT - All you have to do is get the Free Step started as usual. After you get past all the usual Wii messages & set the sound and speed options as you want them, you just have to use your TV remote to switch over to watch TV instead of looking at the Wii Fit screen. On my remote, it is called the "input" button & it is what you use to switch back and forth from the TV to the Wii. You can then use your TV remote as you normally do to watch anything you want. Just use the "input" button again anytime you want to switch back to check on your Wii progress or when the time is up.

Let me know if that isn't clear & I'll try again. It's a great way to keep exercising while catching up on TV shows at same time. Enjoy!

For the free step, you just start the session, and then flip over to the tv/cable/dvd player/whatever. The remote will play the sounds for you to keep pace with while you watch whatever else on the tv. It works better once the free step is opened up to 30 min, while it is still on the shorter starting times, its more annoying to flip back and forth, but it shouldnt take more than a couple of times to open up the 30 minutes.

I've never used the Free Step... is it easy to set up? I would love to be able to use it while watching my favourite shows! I have Wii Fit, but usually use EA Active or Biggest Loser.

Free Step & Free Run on Wii Fit/Plus are the only ones I know of.

I wonder if anyone has tried to use the picture-in-picture function on many TVs and if they can see & control any Wii game in the little pic while watching TV. I can't get regular picture-in-picture to work on my TV at all so haven't been able to try this with the Wii. Might be worth researching.

I have the Wii Fit Plus, Sports Active, My Fitness Coach, and Jillian Michael 2010.

The only thing I know you can do while watching TV is the Free Step on the Wii Fit. What are others?
