Your going to love your Wii. I have Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus ..love them, EA Sports Active & More Workouts..pretty good workouts. I also have DDR, not to fond of it, but that's just me. My new favorite is Just Dance...it's so much fun and before you know it two hours are gone and your sweating like crazy and laughing.
I get the new Walk It Out this Tuesday (hopefully) and am looking forward to that.

I am really liking my My Fitness Coach game. I really get working up a sweat on that one, but it's not too difficult. I can't wait to get myself a balance board though, so I can do my Biggest Loser & Water Sports games.
The Wii is great to date I have got the Wii Fit and Plus (Catnip with the Perfect 10 what you have to do is hit the balls that add up to the number at the top of the screen starts at 10 then goes to 15 etc.), Gold's Gym Cardio Workout (LOVE this one if you have a game rental place rent them first to find out if you like it), My Fitness Coach, EA Active, the Wii Sports (comes with the system) and Wii Sports Resort (Skydiving is fun).
That said I also find you do get a workout playing the drums on Guitar Hero World Tour and Tony Hawk's RIDE gets me sweaty too but not sure they count as workout games.
You could also try out Just Dance, We Cheer, We Ski and I like the Dance Dance Revolution games although the music sucks (all techno remixes) and I've seen it but never tried it is the Great Outdoor Adventure.
You'll love the Wii. Aside from the Bowling which is on the Sports DVD which comes with the Wii (and the only sport I can do with some success), I love the Wii Fit Plus.
There's a learning curve to the games, since they don't explain them much, but I've figured out most of it, except Perfect 10, where you're supposed to bump your hips into balls adding up to a number. Obviously, I don't get it because I never score. I thought if a ball said 7, I was supposed to bump it 7 times, but.... And then sometimes the balls are lit up; I have no idea what any of it means.
I also have the EA Personal Trainer and More Workouts, which received excellent reviews at Amazon. I'm waiting until I'm more proficient at Wii Fit Plus, before I start them. One game I'm not getting is Your Shape (the one with the camera); that received bad reviews at Amazon.
