ANDYINBC - I would totally be interested in an Olympic-related challenge. I live in Vancouver, BC, and am one of the seemingly few "supporters" of the upcoming mega-event. A year-long challenge is a bit long, but perhaps something to start in Jan and continue through the games??

IMHO, the reason you don't see many, if any, year long challenges is that it is very hard for people to stay interested in a challenge for that long. Even a month long challenge will have people drop. And the longer you go, the more people who will drop as life gets in the way and interest wanes.

That doesn't mean you couldn't do it of course. Everything is possible.

As for the Olympics, over a year ago I created a Wii-lympic challenge for this team to run during the summer Olympics and you could just alter it to run during the winter Olympics. You could use that format and perhaps just add or change games/events. It's a fairly easy set up but requires daily attention to run. Lots of daily attention. Anyway, here's the link to the original thread:

The first post has the instructions. You'll have to look through to see the posts of winners and event announcements. Also we sent Sparkgoody medals to the 3 medals winners of each event.

I am all in for an Olympic challenge. I did not know there was Wii Winter Sports 2 - The Next Challenge. I will have to look for it. In act, I have the day off today...sounds like a great thing to do.

I have no idea how to create a team challenge but if you do, I would participate in it and hope others would too.

There's a challenge that started today on the Wii Top Scores team. It's not a year, but it's fun anyway! It's called the pig races - you should check it out. Here's the link.

I have the Wii Winter Sports 2 - The Next Challenge.
I have not tried the games yet as I just got the balance board for Christmas.

Could work up a Winter Olympic challenge. What do you think AndyINBC??

I have only been on Spark for a few months but wondering, are there ever any yearly challenges?

Who can lose the most in one year, who can walk the furthest, do the most work outs consecutively.

I don't know about you guys but I have always been someone who likes to compete and would be up to a 2010 Olympic year challenge. Afterall, the Olympics are coming up in another month or so in my home province of BC.
