Thanks for all the input. With Christmas just around the corner I think I'm going to just try the website that offers routines. Maybe tax time will afford me an opportunity to upgrade to another game too. Thanks so much for your feedback!!!!! emoticon

PAR2GO, I think the second Active game is worth it. It has warm ups and cool downs and abdominal exercises which as you know the first didn't. And I really like the boxing in the second one even more than I liked it in the first.

Downside is that it is a separate game, so the exercises don't carry over. But you could just rotate between games. Do the 6 week challenge on the second game and then the 30 day challenge on the first and so on.

The only other thing is that it doesn't seem to have enough custom workouts with it other than the ones you get on the challenge. It has a few, but just not enough for my tastes. But since you can still program your own it isn't a big problem.

Definitely adds variety and can be a great workout.

I enjoy playing the Wii Fit Plus but I don't consider it an intense workout. I prefer either Active or Biggest Loser. I think Active has more of a variety than Biggest Loser. I don't have the second EA Active with more workouts yet but I am thinking about getting it. Is it worth it?

I love the sports resort one. Still getting used the biggest loser.

I gotta agree with other who posted EA Sports Active (or the more workouts sequel). It varies the workout for you and gives a great workout. I could really tell the difference in my legs and arms after using it for a while.

You do have to buy a set of resistance bands as the one that comes with it is too weak. So there is that added cost. But still it is well worth it.

And because it must be said, jump lunges are evil.

If I could only own one I would make it EA Sports Active More Workouts because it's a great workout and has lots of variety so I wouldn't get bored.

Were I on a desert island though, simple life would be a great workout, so I'd want more fun in which case I'd take (don't laugh) Wii Cheer. Believe it or not it's a great cardio workout if you really go all out and it's a blast to play.

I would take Ea Sports Active because it's challenging enough for me to get a great workout

I'm new to this board, in fact, this my first post on Sparkpeople since joining about three weeks ago. I read back through 10 pages of post. Bottom line, I'm a bit bored with the Fit, even the added Plus didn't really spur me on. I'm looking for some something more.

So, if you could only take one workout disk to the deserted island with you, which one would it be?

Thanks in advance for your help :)
