Thanks..after you suggested that, I went and bought a heart monitor watch. It is one of the best things I have bought. Last night I burned more calories than I thought I could burn during a Biggest Loser workout. I think it was because my heart rate was already up before I started so it had me burning more than I usually was..I think it's awfully accurate becuase it is constantly monitoring my heart rate even if you can't constantly see your heart rate. It is still basing your calorie burn constantly based on your heart rate.

I wear my Heart rate monitor & track everything using that, so I'm not 100% sure how you would track it without one, but I average 10 cals per minute of BL workout, so you might want to use that as a guide. or use the wii workout thats on the fitness tracker & just put your minutes in & guesstimate. If you don't have a heart rate monitor, I highly recommend getting one, it really takes the guess work out of it & you know how many calories you are burning.

I have another question. How do you track your calories the ones you actually burn doing the challenges? It doesn't tell you how many total you burned during the challenge. I did the light cycling and it would say during each round, but it was hard to read because it was so small. Then, each round it would start over and didn't tell me at the end of the challenge how many I burned. How do I track that under my cardio on SparkPeople? I can't read that small.

Wendydarling1 I would say that would be for the 14lbs. I can't remember what mine said, but that sounds about right. you weigh in at the weekly challenge & weigh-in, but the weight your contestant loses is based on your preformance in the game that week, ex - your workouts, extra exercise logged, calories & how you did on the challenge, its not based on how much weight you lost. This week I lost 4lbs but Ali (my game person) lost 11 lbs.

Is there a certain point where they have the weigh in? When do you get to the weigh in? How do you know how much weight you have to lose to survive the weigh in? I think I put in for the 4 wk program to start with to get used to it so I can work my way up. It said I should expect to lose 14 lb, is that in 1 wk or over the whole 4 wks?

I got the Biggest Loser game about a week ago.. its fun!! on nights where I'm feeling a little energetic I practice the challenges... on nights with workouts.. well.. Bob kicks my tail on easy level!!! I survived one elimination!! Stayed above the yellow line! I must say elimination night was the most fun to play! To be fair I haven't given wii fit plus a go yet... Biggest Loser is Big Fun!

I chose Bob too because with my Jillian Michaels in my Shred DVD and working with her on her site..I get enough of her with that. I figured Bob would be better with the fact that I am beginner on the game and he is a little more gentle and encouraging.

So I have the regular Wii Fit package, but I found that I was taking more time picking out what I wanted to do rather than doing it...so I bought the Biggest Loser. I will tell you what (in my Hank Hill voice, lol) those workouts will wear you out. I was sweating my tail off within the first five minutes. I've only used Bob as my trainer as Jillian scares me. Anyone else using TBL regularly?

I don't have either one. I was looking at them yesterday at Costco and needed some feedback. I am glad to hear about other team members' preferences before purchasing.

Hi Nicole.

Yes. The Wii Fit does make you sweat your but off :). However, The Biggest Loser is a bigger challenge. With the WFP, you can create your own routines with the strength and yoga, which continuously play. But when you do aerobics, you have to stop to pick this or that. In the Biggest Loser, there is no stopping until Bob or Jillian says so. If you need to, you press pause (I have to do this) in order to to stop.

I do the WFP in the mornings before work and the BL when I get home from work. I love them both.

I also think the biggest loser is the better workout then wfp...it's a much better intensity....

I don't know about anyone else, but I honestly believe the Biggest Loser is much more intense workout than Wii Fit Plus. I do not sweat as hard in WFP as I do in BL unless I am running 20 minutes or more. I don't think it should be logged under the Wii Fit High Intensity. I think it should be logged under aerobics with high intensity.

Any other opinions? I would like to here what others may think.
