I think the trick to getting spin that I have been using is releasing the ball (or the b button I suppose!) closer to my leg as I move the wiimote across my body... do you know what I mean? It took me a while to figure out spin in the original wii sports, whereas my partner got it right away.

I have been really enjoying the island flyover game the last two days - it is almost calming.

I haven't quite gotten the hang of putting spin on the ball with this new game. In the Sports version my ball had so much curve it wasn't funny. In this one, my ball mostly goes straight, so I have to learn how to hook it. Is there information like that in the book that comes with it? I haven't even looked at it... I've just been winging it.

I got it yesterday and really enjoy it. Took me quite a while just to work my way through each of the 12 activities. I like the 100-pin bowling... you can leave some interesting spares! My niece liked the airplane one where you try to collect places of interest. She laughed like crazy when I would crash into things. Nice variety of games.

I really liked playing Frisbee with the dog - the game response so well to your motions.

I did very well with the bowling, but I am not sure how different it is from the original Wii Sports beyond better graphics.

Archery was quite fun!

Yep, it definitely gets you up and moving! I am not counting it as exercise per se, but the canoeing and the swordplay definitely had me sweating. But all of the events get you up off the couch, so yay for that!

I really like it. I played it up to about 10:55 last night and I go to bed at 11. It's a lot of fun. If you have the Nintendo Channel loaded on your wii system, they have a lot of the demos playing on it.

My SO was telling me the other day that he really wants to get this game. Would you say it really makes you get up and move?

I don't win races, but I always cross the finish line. I'm not fast, but I try my best to become faster. I don't have sports endorsements or earn a paycheck, but that doesn't stop me from running. We got one yesterday and had a blast with it. I love the Sword Fighting, Canoeing, and the Cycling. Upper back and shoulders are sore today. Also the frisbee golf.

I already had the Wii Motion Plus because I needed it for my Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 game, so I was glad that another came bundled with the game so both my husband and I could play against each other. Whenever we played the Tiger one, we would always have to pass it back and forth.

Hi Amitai!

It is really easy to hook up the Wii motion plus, and the nunchuck inserts into it the same way it does into the regular controller. I had no problems getting it to work correctly!

My partner and I went out to pick this game up today and have been playing it for the last several hours. It is so fun, definitely a great alternative to sitting on the couch. It also got me sweating for some of the games - whew!!

Anyone else pick this up today?? What do you think?
