well, hopefully not, but sometimes that's how it feels, but I guess that comes from the one that just joined to advertise--I think that was the first time I had ever encountered someone join and drop out to just advertise a team--and I actually saw the person do that on both this team and on the Gamers' Fit team.
Anyway, enough negative here--I'm over being upset and it wasn't so big of a deal to keep it going...SO
Here's some ideas to advertise a team--
put it on your SparkPage (so the team is visible) and talk about it in your SparkPage intro, if you wish.
advertise on the public message boards.
put it (with a link, maybe) in your signature (edit it on your "edit my SparkPage" page).
you could also choose to put something in your profile picture that would draw people to check out your SparkPage and/or the team.
when fitting, can mention it during a conversation--as in this happened or I'm on this team type things.
or you can find people that you think would be truly interested in the team and send them a SparkMail or an invite from the team (it's a button at the top of the team page) explaining about the team and that you thought they'd be interested.
