Welcome to the Team, and to SparkPeople! I'm glad you've had fun with DDR, and the Wii Fit definately has some exercises that will help you strengthen your body, not to mention things to help you cool down after an intense workout.

I found DDR to be a great help in loosing weight. I was awful at it for the first 2 months. almost quit playing with it..but if you keep at it...it gets more fun--sounds like you already know that!
Welcome and best regards!
I am a new sp member (6th day today) and brand new member to the Wii Exercise team!
I am absolutely a DDR fanatic. I have Ultimate Dance Party 2, and let me tell you this - 300+ pounds and DDR = sweat and a lot of laughs.
I have 4 kids and my 2 boys are right along side of me trying their best to beat me. It is entertaining, great fun, and a real workout.
I typically run a 400 calorie goal daily on the workout mode, this usually takes around 52 minutes on basic level difficulty. Then, after the kids get home from school I get the second pad out and we do team games for anywhere between 2 and 4 hours per day!
I have read through a lot of the posts on this message board, and decided to go ahead and talk to the wife about getting Wii Fit for some strength training (although anyone who argues that DDR as a 300 pound guy doesn't build strength in your legs and butt is sadly mistaken).
I am really glad to have found this team and look forward to being a member!
