Thanks for posting the YouTube TV version link. I couldn't get the videos to load through the SparkPeople page, but they work just fine directly through YouTube.

I'll have to try it Tuesday or Wednesday, just too late for me to get on Wii tonight, I'll never get off in time to go to bed at a decent hour. LOL

I will do what I can with what I have for Jesus sake Today.

sorry, guess it's been awhile since I turned on the Wii. (life's been busy). And thanks for that info--that's pretty cool.

Even then, the internal memory's the same, so it would require an SD card to make it bigger.

Actually according to the wii site, the new update allows special sd (sdhc) cards to work up to 32 gb. The regular sd cards still only work up to 2 gb, but the sd high capacity versions can be bigger. No clue why an sdhc 32 is workable but an sd 4 is not :P

The memory is like a hard drive, or probably more accurately, like an SD card since it's "flash memory" instead of a disc that rotates (inside a hard drive)...so there is no update that will help the amount of space that's available (that's built into the system when it was made).

However, they have updated the Wii to be able to use an SD card for some memory--to be able to save some game data to or to be able to play some games (WiiWare) from it (I know that not all games allow for it, but want to say that most would). You can have up to a 2 GB card for it to work (bigger cards will NOT work).

Now, the update might have helped being able to play the YouTube videos because for a while there, the version of Flash (it's a program that helps run a lot of video type stuff from the internet) was too old to work with YouTube.

I'm glad to hear that it works again, as it hadn't worked for a while. Thanks for the info. (and sorry if I got a bit too technical...lol.)

Oh, and to help you have more space, you can always use an SD card to store some of the things you're not using at that point in time. You can even save the data on your computer, if you have only one SD card, then you can just switch out the info whenever you need/want to.

I tried manually updating it. It said I already have the most current software. :( Thank you for the help, though! I'll have to hit up the Wii-Boards to see if there's anything I can do to increase my Wii's memory. I'm starting to lean toward the "Needs an SD Card" answer.

Well you have to specifically do the update (go to the wii symbol at bottom of screen, and then go through those lists of options, somewhere there is an update system selection). It is not an automatic update, they even warn you when you select it "are you sure" because if you hacked your system (not sure what the point of that would be) then updating it might make it unplayable.

Maybe! I'll try it, though my experience was on Saturday. Maybe I missed it by a few hours.

Maybe lack of an SD card is an issue too.

There was a recent update to the wii operation system, I just updated this weekend. That may help the memory issue.

I just discovered that myself a few days ago, hehe.

Unfortunately, I can't run mine in fullscreen mode without the Wii yelling at me that it doesn't have enough memory, so I've got do leave my videos minimized. :(

Awesome! I have the Internet channel on my Wii, but I never thought of that.

Thanks!
