I'm terrible at balance too. I also, trip over my own feet. So embarrassing walking down the hallway at church and tripping. I should practice more with the balance games. I mainly did them for the challenge. I don't know how I opened up expert tightrope, but I did. It is easier to shut my eyes on doing some of the the body test, like the moving square. I use to think I had to move with it until I read to hold still. Duh!
I'm sure there are lots of people who were terrible at first, but little by little you can get better if you keep playing. I like the challenge. Sometimes it helps to figure out how the game works... like the soccer. It seems at first like the balls (and other objects) are coming at you from so many different angles, but actually there are only three paths that they take... straight down the center (where all you have to do to hit it is stand still), to the right, or to the left. Then if you can get to where you see the direction it's going sooner, you can move your body accordingly. I'm not saying it's easy (especially the advanced... it goes faster) but you can get better the more you do it. And like someone mentioned, you don't have to move your head at all, just bend side to side.
OMG no indeed! It asks me if I trip over my feet when I walk. LOL I keep trying! The only ones I can do is the bubble in the water and the table tilt games, the others I really suck at but sometimes I do a little better. My absolute worst is the soccer head butt game!

I believe that is why they are there to play. Balance is very important for us older folks (I am 49 and not falling down yet). The older we get, the more unbalanced and better chances in falling. They say if seniors even do stretching exercises, they have a far less risk of falling down.
tee hee - I suck worse than anyone! Part of the reason we got the Wii Fit was to help with my balance, so I try the balance games as much as I can/ Had minor brain surgery a couple of years ago and it destroyed my balance.
So yes, others have trouble. And no, sometimes it doesn't get better. But it sure is fun trying! We shall see if time helps.

LOL we could compare I completely suck.My man says that when I do them it's far more entertaining than America's funniest videos.He did record me doing the hula and oh boy that is a real eye opener.LOL

Am I the only person in the world who can not play the balance games on the Wii Fit? OK, yes, I can play ONE (ski-jump) but the other ones I completely suck at.
