we just got the Active Life game today. My kids are having a blast!! I tried the first 2 beginner trails. The first "set" is log jump, whack a mole and kayak. I must be super out of shape because I was getting winded. lol The second set was mine cart, jump rope and speed skate. Some of the games don't require much leg movement, but I did some anyway. That may have been what got me winded.

As far as renting the games, it's a great idea. Since this one has a pad that is required to play you probably won't be able to do that.

That is a good idea to rent the games first!! Will have to find somewhere around here where I can rent them......hate to end up with games I won't use!

I did order DDR and look forward to getting it!

I saw the ads for Jillians fit game but didn't know if it was out yet. I agree, the Outdoor challenge is cutsie. My ten year old likes it but I am not sure I will. Haven't tried it yet.

Have a Beautiful Day!

Well it'll probably be fine for me and my daughter since she is Developmentally Delayed and like the more juvenile games anyway... much easier for her! Maybe I'll rent it first to check it out.. I was thinking about joining GameFly to rent video games before I buy them, so I won't end up with a stack of unwanted games... LOL

I loved the Wii Fit so much. I bought the Outdoor Activity game quickly there after, thinking it would be fun to do with my 12 year old son. It was very juvenile, and it was pretty simplistic in design. It couldn't hold either one of our interests. I'm afraid we used it for about 20 minutes and put it away, most likely for good.

I ordered Dance Dance Revolution that I should be receiving tomorrow. Hopefully that will be better.

I have seen the Jillian Michaels fit game advertised, but not sure if I am getting it. I just checked out Outdoor Challenge & it looks like fun. I might check out Wii Ski also, looks like fun. Anything to help burn calories!!!

Has anyone seen the new ads for the Jillian Michaels wiifit game? Or, has anyone tried the outdoor activity games? [not sure if that is the right name - off the top of my head] I ordered the latter for me and my mids. It looks like loads of fun and just wondered if anyone else had the opportunity to check it out yet.
