I'd say anything that you do for the sake of exercise--as in, don't count household chores, unless it IS chores that make you sweat (like mowing the yard or vigorous vacuuming, or such)...but anything that you would want to put into your tracker on SP can count.

Junica, for me I'll probably only be counting things that make me pant. LOL

Oh I agree, I just know that I started only counting when I was up and doing cardio really. That's why I wanted clarification this time. Mostly it's an attitude adjustment that I need myself. Exercise doesn't always involve high heart rate and straining muscles...

Anything you count as exercise counts for Monkey Island. Because people are at different levels of fitness I am not going to decide what to count and what not to count. We can each make that decision ourselves.

I think people did well on the Pirate challenge so I think Monkey Island will work out as well.

And...I got to thinking (I've been doing that alot, i'm waiting on the Wii to get free).

What are we counting as exercise for the Monkey Island event? Anything that isn't us sitting in a chair? I was noticing with the challenges and such from Pirates that I was really working my muscles even doing the simpler exercises. I know I have troubles with realizeing that every little thing I do works so I just wanted a ruleing on it I guess.

Another thought that I had, is when you add the minutes to the Wii Fit activity tracker, it has you decide if it's easy, medium, hard and then it changes the time those count for. Easy stuff counts for less time and hard for more.

I know that easy stuff for some people is not easy for others. I'm really just curious on what the opinion of the group is.

I was going to tag this in with the Monkey Island message but I didn't want it cluttering up in there either...
