That's what I'm thinking too, that it makes up steps. I do understand that it gives you a pace for a reason, to keep the person exercising safe. But I feel the need to step it up a notch for the calorie burn.
I did the advanced hula hoop today and made it up to 1924! I still don't see how it justifies that many, even though we have to work harder to keep 4 hoops up. But to me it doesn't make sense lol! But you know what? I'm gonna take 'em where I can get 'em!
I also did the advanced boxing, I think it's a 10 minutes program? Got over 950 points on that one. Only messed up twice and finally realized that the "better punches" registers as 2 points.
I am up to almost 1200 steps on the free step now and then I do the Island Lap for the run. I try to do the hula hoop, boxing, free step and one of the runs in each workout when I have time. If I don't have the time I do at least 3. I also do a few yoga poses as well for my warm up and cool down.
I'm staying away from too many strength exercises because I bulk up pretty quickly and I want to lose a few more pounds first. With that I'm concentrating on the jack knives and the tricep extension.
That's where I'm at right now. Once I lose a few more pounds, I'll only do 2 aerobics per workout and fill the rest of the time up with the strength exercises.
Okay, that was just me checking in! lol Thanks for reading...
