Well, it's by Sega (that's good news--it's not EA or something)...it's rated Everyone (family friendly, for sure)....and it's only $40 instead of $50.
However it takes TWO Wiimotes...one for each hand/maraca.
I actually think there was something similar on the eye toy (PS2), but it was hard to do since you had to line up right with the camera.
It looks like a lot of fun...as for the "maracas" on there, I don't see any. Just two Wiimotes with the special "don't hurt the TV" padded grippies.
(if you don't have any grippies/sleeves/covers/whatever (comes with Wiimotes now), you can call Nintendo (phone number on back of every game box) and request up to 4 be sent to you, as well as the latest version of wrist straps (up to 4).)

Happiness is a butterfly, which when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you. ~Nathaniel Hawthorne
I am so excited - I was just at Walmart and saw a video for a new Wii game coming out in September called Samba de Amigo. You get maraca attachments to hook onto your remotes and it has awesome music and showed 2 people dancing and shaking all around. I have DDR (it's my main exercise) and this looks like it might be a really great addition. I was wondering if it was out anywhere else that anyone has seen it yet?
