Hula hooping is my new favorite! I am a "calorie incinerator!" My kids think it is funny to watch me do it then they try to beat me. Watching them do it is really funny.

Well with the 10 minutes its 5 minutes per side and its a killer!

Today I did the Super Hula on 10 minutes. Yikes. Near the end of doing it on the right by lower back on my right side started to ache like my stomach does when I do crunches. On the left I did not get NEAR as many rotations because I flat got tired!

I didn't drop my hoops last night going to the left. To the left is so hard.

Find my free blog chatthefat for the 27 rules I live by.

I always move my arms, just like I'm doing the real thing. They do get tired!

That's a great idea! The movements are very similar, and you've really got to move quickly to keep all those hoops up. The only other thing is probably to make sure you're moving your arms and not just resting them at your sides. I think I'll start categorizing it that way too :)

I grew up on Dr. Seuss and absolutely love him! Him and Walt Disney characters, especially Pooh Bear. When I saw those quotes from Seuss I thought them so appropriate. Glad you enjoyed them! emoticon

The only difference is that hula you have to do circles and belly dancing you do side to side a bit more. Not that I've done enough to be 100% certain on that, but I do know that you can't just go side to side with the game, or you lose the hoops.

The workout factor is probably close to the same, though.

MRSMHESS: I love your Dr. Suess quotes. My friend gave me that book when my son was born. It was the first book I read to him.
Now he is 10 and using the Wii fit right along with me. Of course he is just using it fo rthe Fun Factor.

It sure is! I always did that type of exercise when I did cardio on my own. So that's a great idea.

I was thinking that the Hula Hoop is sort of like Belly Dancing and they have that in the Tracking Cardio Section. ( I hula very vigorously)
What do you think? emoticon
