i sometimes use liquid protein in my water (GNC has a pretty good one) and I make protein shakes with Whey powder, almond milk and SF coffee.

2010 is my year to reach goal!

the consistancy is about the same, maybe a little creamier. you can get it at regular grocery stores too. of course you have to watch the "extras" just like regular yogurt. the extras add up quickly in calories. I get the plain, not fat kind, then add what I want to it.

pork chops are good too, if they don't have a lot of fat on them. Turkey breast is another good choice.

All the so called "secrets of success"will not work ... unless you do.

those sound good! I've never had greek yogurt, is the consistancy the same as regular yogurt, or like yogurt on gyros? Where can I find it?

I never even thought of chicken!!!!! We are having pork chops tomorrow..I'm cooking mine in applesauce :)

greek style yogurt has alot more protein then regular yogurt. The stuff I get from costco has 20 grams in a one cup serving. mix it with fruit (I love blueberries) and some almonds and you have a great high protein breakfast without a ton of cholesterol or sodium.

I also try to have at least one cup of beans (legumes) every day. give me protein and really fills me up with all the fiber.

What do you guys do to make sure you get adequate amounts of protein? I know that would make a BIG diff with my hunger, and I'm really ready to get to 150's. Tell me your ideas! How can I get good amounts of protein and stay away from bad fats?
