Hi THINAMY07, I replaced my cravings for chips, cakes, cookies, chocolate, ice cream, crackers all with Whey Protein Powder drinks, with frozen fruit, banana, flax oil, wheat germ, skim milk and ice cubes. After using this daily for two weeks my cravings for sweets and chips are gone. I now crave carrots, cucumbers, fruit, etc. I'm free, I'm free, Jesus set me free! Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding, acknowlege Him in all your ways and He will direct your path.
I decided the way to stop avoiding forcing myself to drink 8 glasses of tasteless water a day was to replace it with Carbonated Spring Water, 2 tbsp. juice and ice cubes. Tastes like pop without the calories and I'm drinking most of my water every day now.
thinamy07, Maybe try soynuts? They're really tasty and great for you!
I crave drive through hamburgers and milkshakes. I'm going to replace the hamburgers with a high protein/low sugar power bar, and the high fat milkshakes with lowfat or fat free frozen yogurts with fresh frozen fruit.

About a month ago God put this thought upon my heart: "Are you eating to indulge your cravings or are you eating to nourish your body?" It stopped me in my shoes, and is one of the reason's I ended up on SP.
So today's team goal is to come up with one thing you eat to indulge yourself, and what nourishing food you are going to choose to replace it with when you get a craving.
I'll start. I indulge myself with chocolate, but now I will choose to nourish my body with raspberries when I get a craving for chocolate.
