My recent bloodwork showed tremendous improvement in the A1C and LDL numbers! Thank you Jesus! To God be the glory! The past 3 months I was a bit discouraged because my weight was not as low as I though it should be. When in fact, the inside of me was changing for the better and I am so glad. The test results are great motivators to keep going.

The enemy sought to disquise my blessings but God prevailed! I learned that my blessings are not always in what I see, but in what God does for me even when I'm unaware. Awesome.

I am blessed today just to wake up in my right mind and to have the activity of my limbs. I can hold a Bible and read it for myself and I can sing praises to the Lord with my own voice. I have endured illness and chronic pain but the Lord delivers me from them all! No weapon formed against me shall prosper.

I'm praising Jesus today because I have been doing a Daniel Fast for the past 26 days and stayed steadfast while on the fast, even when I had to travel on business. I was scared this week because I knew I was going to have to rely on restaurant food instead of my refrigerator. God knew what I was facing and provided me a way out. I saw for the first a fresh market just a block away from my hotel that had a fix-it-yourself salad bar and lots of fresh veggies and fruit!! I stayed true even while I wasn't home. That is truly God's providence and guidance!!

My victory is a year old but last July God healed me of my asthma and I have not had one allergic asthma attack since then. I sometimes use my nebulizer because everything still wants to go to my chest but what a delivery. Before I could not go into a restroom with air freshner or be near anyone with perfume or cologne on or I would have a severe asthma attack now it just gives me a headache. I truly praise the Lord daily for this healing.

Praise God! You are doing what is right for your body and that is all God is asking for.

I am the same way, as long I keep moving forward and stop obsessing over the scale God takes the weight off. If I go backward I stop and or gain some back even. Praise God for His hand in all this.

I have been following the principles from the book, "What the Bible Says about Healthy Living" for the past month and have been reaping the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Before starting the lifestyle, I was overexercising to compensate for overeating, or just to keep up with the great exercisers on SP. But, I have found that if I walk or jog every other day, my joints don't ache like they did when I was exercising nearly every day. I also have lost two pounds in a month. I'm not looking to lose fast since I don't feel well if I don't eat enough or get enough fiber in my diet.
