Good for you SunnyAZ. Love the emotions. emoticonI used to never put onions in my salads until I met my husband. When I had him over for dinner the first time he was practically stunned there were no onions in my salad. John is bit of an onion head! Now every time I make a salad I put onions in it. They really do make the salad taste much better. Hey, thanks for the information on onion and how healthy they are for you.

Would to have 80-90, and not 109 as predicted here in Arizona.,

BTW.....waching Dr. Oz on Ovarian Cancer.....the one expert said to eat 1/2 cup red onions, raw best every day....to reduce risk by 70%. Needless to say, I am adding onions to MY SALADS! ha.....I eat red onions every day already!

MY NEW saying: (borrowed from Delila)

"If you want to do something, you'll find a way, if you don't, you'll find an excuse."

Well my Friends this is the first day of summer, but I tell ya if i had to go just by the way it felt here in Ohio I would say summer started back in May! So far this month we have had many days of high 80 degree weather, and most likely at least 5 days of 90 degree weather. But I refuse to complain about the weather. God is good, and I have air condition, so shame on me to ever complain about the heat, ya know what I meanemoticon

Well, since it is summer now I thought I would supply you with some really good recipes so you don't have to heat up your house so much this year by cooking in your oven. Below are some really good recipes on summer fruit salads. The fresh fruit salad with honey-yogurt dressing sounds especially good! YUM!!!emoticon

I also have included in this post what Sparkpeople is calling their: Best Summer Recipes!
