Missy, I know what you mean about that verse....I guess I always remembered as the shortest verse, but never gave it more thought! I probably thought He wept because Lazarus had died, his sisters & others were mad at Him, etc....not really concentrating on the real reason. As I said on another team page, I do not like to listen or watch Joyce Meyer. I read her books, but you pricked my curiosity and I watched it and liked it. Thanks for posting it and leaving it.....you know"you can please some of the people all the time, and all of the people some of the tim, but you can not please all of the people all of the time"....Hugs to you, dear friend! Margaret

I wasn't making a plug for Joyce Meyer but for the powerful message of truth expressed in that clip. God often uses unlikely sources to share His messages, a finger writing on a wall, a stutterer, an adulterer, even the jawbone of a donkey. There are a good many ministers I do not enjoy and some that make my skin crawl, so I do understand. I shared it because I had never considered the real meaning behind the smallest verse in the bible: Jesus wept. That was a big revelation for me. It would so break my heart for someone to broadcast for thousands of people to see it that they do NOT like me. It hurts my heart just thinking about it.
