I enjoyed reading all of your comments. Thank you Bobbie, Missy, Bee, and Erin for your replies. My friends daughter's car was totaled, and she passed out from the hard impact. As a result she had to be cut out of the car because they could not open the doors of the cr. Both parents are very grateful for to God and are praising Him for keeping their daughter alive. They both know that is was nothing but God who kept their dear daughter alive.
I hope everyone on this team has a wonderful Easter. Love you all Shelly

I know He has had His hands in my life fixing and taking care of what I allowed to mess things up in mine. God is pure love and He fixes everything for a greater outcome of a big, huge wonderful master piece. A situation recreated by Him for a beauty, perfection in love. Weaving so many life threads into a world tapestry, guiding, teaching, creating, blessing, with each yarn we add from our basket from our life skeins. Our job is to trust His eye and hand, allowing His control to do what is the best for all and yes just me too. The human pain may not allow us to see this sometimes, but His love allows us to heal through the pain, if we allow Him to reach into our heart and hold it with love and care...
Walk through your journey with a loving open heart and as well mind. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

I know that God's hand is upon us. To the naked eye, my accident on my treadmill, severing my little toe, was horrid. And it was. Very painful stuff for the six months that followed. Through it, though, God brought so much good stuff into my life through that accident. No, I do not believe God caused my injury. What I do know is that what the enemy used for evil, God used for good in my life. He is SO good!!

Shelly, I have been hit so many times while driving and hit so hard I flew through the air and landed 2 blocks from where I was and kept rolling over and over and walked away with not one thing wrong with me except my car was totaled out. I know it is and was our Lord who kept me in the palm of His hand because He is so faithful.
Yes he has us where he wants us Glittergirl. That is why we do not control our life. He knew us before our Mothers did.
I am thankful for your Husbands friends daughter's life she is okay. Praise the Lord.
I remember getting a phone call like that when my children were that age. A lesson my children learned after that.
Never pass a drunk if he is too slow and your in a hurry to get somewhere for an important date. . My son passed him and it almost caused him and my daughters life and a friend her life. All of a sudden when my son was passing the slow driving drunk. The Drunk sped up real fast and cut my son off and my son had to go across the other side of highway. Thank the loving Father he protected them. No cars were coming. They were shook up. So if young parents who's kids take driving lessons from school or anywhere else. Make sure your teachers tells them. Never, never pass a drunk. And kids will be kids. When kids get their driving licences they are different when Dad and Mom are not with them in the car. They seem to take chances. Have the radio blaring. My son was not charged but he had to walk for a couple of years. As he knew better. You do not pass .
So I am very thankful my children are here to-day and are grown up into adults and now are Dad and Mom's to their own children.
I also remember myself being with a friend who was learning to drive. We got to the end of the road to go onto the highway. She asked me. Do I stop. I said. Stop of course you stop. Then all of a sudden she stepped on the gas and honest we went into on coming traffic and we hit another car. We then landed against a telephone pole. I was pinned and could not get out. Then all of a sudden I got out. Never in a million years anyone could of got out the way I did from a passenger seat. The police officer said. God was on my side. The Lord was with me. For sure. Knowone was hurt enough to go by Ambulance. Just two trucks were needed. . Both cars were smashed. So when you have the Heavenly Father get you out of car accidents in your life. Then you truly know the power of God. He is our Savior and we love him more and more each day. And we know he died for us. He paid the price. He is there for us always.
I care very deeply about the people on this team. I realized that after I posted my post that if someone read my words something I said may cause someone pain in some way or for some reason. If what I wrote causes anyone any type of pain all I can say is I am sorry. I have not received any emails and no one has commented as I write this out. However, I am a sensitive person and never wish to cause anyone any type of pain. If my words have rubbed you the wrong way please forgive me and seek God.
Deer Jesus please allow what I have written to draw people closer to you. Please help us all to accept where ever we are in our lives. Help us to except our lives and it's challenges it brings. We seek you Lord in all things and praise you for all the different aspects of our lives. In Jesus name I pray amen.
Last night my husband found out that one of his friendís teenage daughter was in a serious car accident. It is one of those phone calls which every parent dreads. A call with enough information, but not nearly enough. The person on the other line says, your child has been in an accident, but nothing more is said except the person who called you is from the hospital emergency room. Nothing makes matters worse than the fact it takes an hour to get the hospital!
Our friends frantically reached the location of the hospital to learn that their daughter was at a traffic light when the accident occurred. Their daughter was waiting at a red light. When the red light turned green she proceeded and was T boned from an oncoming car. Our friends were also told that if their daughter's car would have been a foot further in one direction their childís leg would have been cut off. If their child's car would have been one foot in another direction she would have been dead!
Although the girl did get into a very bad accident, God had their 19 year old right where He wanted her...alive with two legs. She walked away with some scrapes, and bruises, and pain, but lives victoriously through God!
How many accidents have you found yourself in since you have been alive? I mean real accidents as well as tragedies of life? We all have gone through some hard times, some more than others. But isn't it comforting to know that even while you are going through some stuff God has you just where He wants you? Can you see the silver lining around your life circumstance? You may not be where you want to be right now, but perhaps it is time for you to realize you are just where you are supposed to be...just where you were meant to be...just where God has placed you to be!
