My family eats only white meat, although my husband has no preference...he eats what I cook.LOL I only buy turkey breast for Thanksgiveng & other holidays, as a whole turkey would be wasted here. My oldest daughter loves turkey white meat, so she gets a turkey dinner for her birthday, a tradition my blessed mother and father started when she was 5 years old...she is 34, Mom & Daddy are in heaven, but my sister & I still carry on the tradition :0)

Always liked white meat better even before diets!
I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.
I have always liked the white breast meat better with chicken and turkey. The dark meat tastes too greasy to me. I do not like greasy meat and never will.
Very interesting... but I am still a dark meat gal! I'm willing to sacrifice the calories for it --LOL!

Four ounces of dark turkey meat without skin contains a reasonable 183 calories and 5 grams fat. Skinless turkey breast is leaner at 153 calories and 1 gram of fat per serving.

Choosing white turkey meat instead of dark will save you how many fat grams per 4-oz. serving?
