well each time i went to the Y this week, i took at least one family member, and i wanted a buddy to do some of the exercises with...and then we usually did the medicine ball, and different fun things, besides just "normal" strength training. we made it fun.
my housemate was sore after i played with *her*, but *i* was sore after i played with my 6'3" son

Totally bombed this one, which sucks since I had been looking forward to it. Got a really intense cold and haven't exercised in several days.

You know you want to be Crowned, right!?! It's Friday!
If your day started anything like mine though, it was more like a Monday....yikes! On my way to work, failed to remember if I closed the garage door or not, forcing me to drive back home, check it (it was down) and then start back to work all over again. This, on a day that I really needed to be on time (wasn't). Since a few weeks ago, when the back door blew open on it's own and well, yes, I received a call from the neighborhood po-po who were standing outside my house requesting permission to enter to check things out, I did NOT want a repeat of THAT scenario, I drove back.
There is such a thing as "menopause brain", right? Cuz I think I have it (sucks).

Ok, confession time...I haven't been able to do any extra exercises this week though I have done 3+ hours of Zumba....will try to get some sit ups/crunches in tonight...Heaven knows I need them!
The good news is that I'll be getting "gym" mirrors installed in the basement so YAY! Zumba in da' house!

hm. i'm not sure if i can join this, though i want to. i'll try to get 5 in starting the 18th, since i had minor surgery and i'm not supposed to do things that would jar the internal stitches loose. sorry TMI, ooops.

I will chose: 25 situps, 25 crunches, 25 leg lifts, 25 leg lifts diff position, and 25 what i call up and downs. total 125 moves to tighten my insides to victory.

Hello Teammates!
How did you do on your Fiber Intake? Whether you made the MC or not, you've got to feel good about yourself in the attempt, right?
While sometimes it's hard to get that water & fiber in but they are so useful to us in losing the weight. I hope some of you worked yourselves into a new habit anyway! :)
Alrighty then, in keeping with the 2 Intake, 1 Exercise & 1 "Self-Esteem" MC idea, here is your "assignment" for the next week, should you choose to accept it:
Go to My Trackers (top menu) , then click on the My Fitness page and then SEARCH for Strength Training Exercises. From the drop down list choose five (5) exercises such as crunches, leg-lifts, etc. and add those to your favorites. The MC is to do those 5 exercises at least 4 of the 7 days this MC is in effect. You can change your Fitness Setup for the week on this page as well.
They usually consist of 2 reps of 12 each, so it won't take very long to do 5 of them to completion. ;) It is your choice to concentrate on your Core, Legs, Arms, or a combination. Oh, and now that you've made drinking water a habit, don't forget to drink your water while exercising! Make sure to post your 5 choices in this Forum! Also, don't forget to get your 5 SparkPoints for each of the exercises each day you do them. Golden Crown for 5 days completed & posted!
This MC starts next Monday morning though you can feel free to pick your exercises at any time before then, if you wish and as usual, feel free to post your 5 choices any time too.
