No worries!!!

Ok, ya'll, I need you all to post if you walked, ran, swam, whatever for 6 days out of the 7 this MC was in effect so I can give out crowns this morning. Oy! I think next time I'll use another unit of measurement but this time, it was do a little (or a lot) for 6 days.....and post.....

I don't have anything to log for yesterday or today. I took a 2.5 hour Zumba class last night but that was pretty much in place so I can't count it....will do 1 hour Zumba again tonight and have a bike ride planned for tomorrow. Now, THAT, I plan on counting! Hopefully I can do the whole 14 miles!

How neat!!! I really like this challenge.....Looks like everyone is being active :-)

Im having a hard time....I did an aerobics class and we went to the beach and ran around on the sand and climbed up the rocks and scavenged for sea shells, so I have been active........so, I cannot log "miles" so far! However, I plan to spend at least an hour at the actual gym today - treadmill and bike machine(don't know what that's called) :-p - so I will be able to log "miles" today. YAY! Its just been so nice, being outside and playing like a kid was what I needed :-)

Hope everyone is enjoying the same beautiful weather and this team! I love to see how you all are doing! All the best wishes for you all!

Do you have a Smartphone? There are apps you can download (I use one called Cardio Trainer) that do a superb job of tracking.

If not, you could always count your steps and work into it from there. 2000 steps=1mile!

Alrighty! Time for our another Exercise MC this month!

Let's get out our pedometers & see how many miles, as a team, we can walk for this weeks Exercise Mini-Challenge! Walking can be so beneficial for all body functions AND it can be counted as minutes exercised, if you wish for your tracker.

For the Team Challenge though, we'll post in miles. Below is an example of how we'll each post what we've walked:

IMW: 4 (Individual Miles Walked)
TIMW: 6 (Total Ind Miles Walked)
TMW: 22 (Total Miles Walked as a Group)

On each post you make, just add your IMW to the previous posters' TMW and that way we'll keep a running total of both the TMW and your personal TIMW through next Sunday.

To complete the MC, walk just 4 days out of the 7 that the MC is in effect, whether it's a 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile or multiple miles. We will keep track of it up to 2 decimal points and it will be tabulated like this:
Example:
If I am the first one to walk and I walk 2 miles on Monday, I would post:
IMW: 2
TIMW: 2
TMW: 2

The next person's first post would look like:
IMW: 1
TIMW: 1
TMW: 3

Then if I posted again, it would be:
IMW: 1
TIMW: 3
TMW: 4

Count only 'planned' walks, not just the normal roaming about we do during the day as in grocery store shopping, etc. If you make a planning a walk with the dog, count it! I know Rover will! emoticon

Also, running will count, so if you run, this is the MC for you! Too, the elliptical counts, the stair stepper and so does the cycle machine, if you're at a gym. This is also the first time we are going to count swimming in the mix. If you swim a half of a mile, not bobbing, but swimming...count it! emoticon
The purpose of this MC is to just get our legs MOVING! Our legs hold the largest muscle in our bodies! Let's use that to our benefit, shall we?

For the Golden Crown Award walk 6 out of 7 days this challenge is in effect! It doesn't matter the distance, just get moving! emoticon

Now, since we have so many new members, let's really hoof it! Who's walking? emoticon
