ok, did video 2nd and 3rd time as declared.
actually did a few on the mat crunches this week, too.
sugar ok. didn't always make the water, but tried. was a somewhat stressful week. been planning to do qi gong all week. maybe will get to it tonight.

Shoot! Now due to a stomach issue, I am going to have to forgo the rest of this challenge. I only got 50 of my declared 150 modified crunches in...but I have to take care of this issue first. Best of luck to the rest of you on meeting your goals for the week!

Oops, took a mini hiatus from the team.
Didn't do anything for about 2-3 days.
Did 100 crunches today though. I think my abs have about had it for today.

i can do coach nicole's day 4 bootcamp. not really crunches. more like standing crunches. i haven't counted them, but i'll declare doing the video 3X this week. starting now for one time.

Okay, after way too much busy and out of town, I'm on this for sure. I'm actually going to go for the crown with a declared 600 crunches, aiming for 100/day and hopefully all 7 days so I'll go beyond. We'll see. It's spring break so what else am I doing, I mean, other than catching up on a stack of grading and other insanity.

Well, here it is folks! The dreaded but oh so good for you 100+ Crunches MC!

Even prior to the first time we did this MC, I have been working on my abs. I include crunches in my work out at the gym 3x each week but this MC will help me (us) focus on them this week exclusively. Aren't we LUCKY?!?

Read on! The MC for this week is to focus on our abdominal area by EITHER:
1) completing at least 100 Abdominal crunches, of any type you desire, for 4 of the 7 days this MC is in effect, for a total of 400 crunches in a week, 6 out of 7 for the Golden Crown Award! emoticon

OR

2) declaring a goal of how many crunches you wish to accomplish in the week and then posting your progress, like this:

By Monday, I declare 500 total crunches for the week: 500/0
On Tuesday I do 120, so I would post: 500/120
On Wednesday I do 50, so I would post: 500/170

and so on. You choose which way you'd like to handle the challenge by declaring which method of MC on Monday, the day it starts. All that I ask is that if you choose #2, that you think about what will challenge you as far as number. If 200, or even 300 is a challenge for you, then post that, but if you are already whipping out 300 each week with no problem, push yourself; challenge yourself, REACH! Surpass your posted number for the Golden Crown Award! emoticon

Some folks have a hard time with this MC because of neck or back problems. For those folks, do it this way: lay on the floor and lift both legs at a time off the floor as far as you can and hold it. You can do this for #2 of the Challenge and plan for yourself what is comfortable.You may also try a standing leg lift crunch, either holding or not holding a weight.

Also, it also wouldn't hurt to increase your water, decrease your refined sugar and de-stress, but hey, one step and one MC at a time, right? :)

As always, post your progress in this Forum. :)

If you choose, you can combine any other of the tips from the articles, but they are not required for this weeks MC.
