Hello - I'm new too , but so excited by all of this friendship and like minded people talking about this topic : losing this fat ! It's easy to just multiply everything by 4 to go from cals. to kjs. but not too precise. Try contacting the SparkTeam directly , they may be able to help. But if not don't stress , don't let it trip you up. Now you're here , make sure you stay !
I find this is true almost across the board - very few sites use kj. also, when I do my cardio, the machines also calculate in calories. In the end, you get used to either dividing or multiplying by 4.2 (or i just go by the "4ish" division rule ). I actually find it easier to think in calories for all this - never really got into using kj.
I must admit I dont have a clue if it can be done. It is ultimately an American program I think. I learned to calorie count which is divide by 4.2 to get calories. Also you can enter all SA foods. Underneath the search button is "enter food not listed". That's how I've coped. You get the hang of going between your favorite food group and dividing kj by 4.2
I will NOT run emotionally from compliments and hide in fat layers for protection.
