Hi,

I have managed to keep to my calories and do my fitness daily. I have seen such a difference this week in my measurements, only dropped 1.4 kg but overall I have lost so much since I started which was four weeks before joining spark my original weight was 137.8kg. I had to actually have three skirts and a pants made smaller as i have nothing to wear. I was such an incredible feeling. I am going to do this correctly this time and I am going to keep the weight off. I have been struggling for years but have never added exercise into my lifestyle this time I have and what a difference, I have so much more energy. Sharon

what am I having for breakfast?
So I didn't plan but I feel really motivated to eat. It'll feel like a victory if I manage to make a good and healthy choice but I won't be disappointed if I don't.

It has been a bitter disappointment to look back and see all the time I've wasted by not taking charge of my weight problem sooner.So now I've learned that planning is vital - If you fail to plan you plan to fail ! The motivation comes in a rush at first , but slows , so watching the numbers on the scales decrease provides added motivation. But the victory ? Finding Spark People and knowing that , at last , I can share , ask for help and gain both inspiration and encouragement here from many like minded dieters!

Well a hearty congratulations to you. Not only are you proud of yourself, but we are proud of you too.
I haven't done anything of my own to be proud of, but I am proud that I went out of my way to help an old lady......and Im exhausted because of it, but she can move much easier now without all her added boxes of rubbish.

I am king of the hill. I struggle with that hill for 3 weeks and Friday I beat it !!! emoticon
I also done my 5km walk/jog race. It was far, but I made it. emoticon

I believe in the family unit, I believe too that the mother seems to have the biggest role these days. I believe its worth fighting for too. When you need a break, take it so you don't explode. But even exploding is unavoidable from time to time. As long as you can appologise if you are wrong and getting the other party/parties to apologise if they are wrong. Sincere apology goes a long way to fixing most things. And not forgetting that LOVE covers a multitude of sins/mistakes.

The battle goes on and on and on. I am almost 15years in my mariage and still I am falling from the wagon from time to time with this battle. We stay human. But I have learned this lesson early in my mariage life, and I took it real seriouse and stil do. It gave our family a foundation that is very strong. All the relationships in our house is GREAT.

I believe that every mom is responsible for the attitude in a house. If mom is happy-go-lucky, you can see it in the whole family and the other way around. So my advise is that you must take this battle and fait it with all your might. Be the least, serve and love. It's one battle worth to fait.

Congrats on that no gaining this weekend.

Victory - not really sure, haven't been feeling myself (emotionally).

So I need allot of motivation.

Now that I think of it, my victory is more spiritually than physical. We had our church camp this past weekend and I believed it changed me for the better. I have renewed respect for my husband and I think before I talk. I am more kind towards him and my I am trying my best not to go all bananas when the kids were naughty. Guess that is a big step/victory.

Oh I totally forgot, I didn't gain any weight during my camp weekend, didn't lose anything either. So whoohoo for that.

I love the attitude change. It's not always easy to get your mind to it. The negative feelings can be SO strong sometimes. But yea, you can do it, one step at a time, one day at a time. The past is the past, tomorow is still on it's way, but today you can make a change.

That is a great victory.
Just today I was feeling a bit sad because this time last year I was so fit, compared to now. My sister kept walking, dieting etc and she is almost 8kgs lighter and looking amazing. then I decided being sad isn't the way to go. So my challenge was to get past that emotion and get into a getting STUCK IN emotion and make a start.

You are proving to be a very motivating team leader.

I have a victory to share.
I am busy with the Rookie 5km walk/jog challenge. My route is like a triangle. Every week I change my route, this week this side around and next week the other side around.
Two weeks ago I walk/jog the hard side around. It have one very steep side with a on going up up up to the top but not so steep as the first part. It is really hard. The hill won everytime!!

Last week I went the other way around. It went well and my speed increase everyday.. emoticon

This week it's the hard side again. Last night I had to face that steep part again.. Oh but I was so suprise when I get to the steep part. My speed has increase so much from I have started, that I could walk up that steep part !!! emoticon

I was so greatfull. Now if I can keep up this speed, I have two weeks to get stronger and more fit before I face that hill again..

By that time I am SURE I going to beat that hill !!!
