I had wholemeal rye toast with egg for brekkie and I am having same toaast for lunch with fat free cottage cheese and cucumber slivers with sliced tomato on the side. My snack before bootcamp is a banana and then I must decide on dinner - I suspect a Fry's vegetarian sausage/schnitzel with baked potato and veggies. Good clean eating day planned!

I have recently joined Weigh Less, and am amazed by how much food I am eating, and for so few calories. A lot of legumes and alternative forms of protein. And biltong and popcorn for an afternoon snack about 2 afternoons a week. yum!!!

Mostly I eat "clean" foods but if it's packaged /processed I enter all the nutrition detaols into MY favourites. I'm in Maintenance mostly and tend to eyeball portions tese days. However a few kgs reappeared unwittingly sio I am writing evrything down this week and I"l tack it all again this weekend

Hi

I am a real spark people's addict and am happy to see there are more and more SA foods in the data base.

I would like to know what sort of healthy SA foods everyone is eating.

My favourites are woolies hummus, PnP cottage cheeses, Soy and Linseed bread, rye 40% wholewheat, Jungle oats. Pnp has Sekko brown rice which is a lot more affordable than the other varieties and I have recently discovered barley, which is not very expensive and even my kids love it.
