that is really a thought coz it happens to me on weekends when I sleep in late and only get hungry at about 11am.

Get up and get going NOW.

Had to chuckle today. I had a discussion with my 26 year old son. He asked why meals were called Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. There I was thinking he was serious, so I start the whole explanation about breaking your fast from the night...hence breakfast. But what he really was saying was.....it should all be called Tummy Time or Hungry Time because no one should eat according to a clock. They should only eat when their tummy tells them its time and hunger pangs are the internal clocks sign.
He has lost weight fantastically in the last 2 months eating only when he is hungry, which led me to thinking about what he was saying. So today I decided not to eat breakfast just because it was time. I tend to be a clock eater, but today decided to wait till my tummy told me it was time. I got to 13.40 before I had the first stirrings of hunger. I had several glasses of water during the course of the morning, but no food.
When I did get hungry, I had a nutritious meal of pilchards and salad and I feel fine.
So, he may have something there.

Hi Deon when you joined here, didnt you fill in all the data, because they usually work out how many calories you should eat? I as a 5ft3" woman get 1200 and its MORE THAN enough for me so 1800 sounds right for you. If you stick to "real food" veggies, fruit, low fat foods then its plenty. If you eat burgers etc then its not enough. Basically we should be off burgers and fast foods anyway. And because you want to lose 30kgs by the end of Dec you will need to eat protein and plenty of veggies anyway.
Hope you enjoy your journey here.

Hi,
what would you suggest as a calorie intake which would ensure weight loss, but not make you sick.

I am at 188 kg and cannot do to much excercise at the monent.
I want to lose 30kg by end Dec.
Is that possible.
Would 1800 cal a day do the trick for this big body?
Regards.
Deon.
