I walk on the fitness flyer every morning before work (15 minutes) and then when I get to work I use the stairs from Ground to the 1st Floor (85 stairs) - I work on the 22nd floor and my goal is to be able to walk to the 22nd floor.
In the evenings I do 30 minutes on the Fitness Flyer as well as some abdominal exercises.
On Thursdays, we have a class at work (1 hour) and we either do Hip Hop, Zumba, Yoga its always something fun

I am from Malawi and its also very cold. I dont go to the gym because I can not afford it. I use the stairs all the time at the office(its on third floor). I also have three workout DVDs (hip hop abs, Billy Blanks and one for step aerobics) so I alternate. I also want to have one for Zumba.
The glorious sun is shining in Cape Town this weekend - I went for a neighbourhood walk up the hilly roads this morning and by the time I got back it was 19C - yummy!
I did a 4.16mile walk at 17min/mile and then a 1.25mile walk to fetch my language student from being dropped off after a mountain hike and overnight at backpackers. That has set me up for a cheerful day
Yesterday was hectic - Boxing class - loads of sweat and cardio and then Aqua - and then vegging with the remote to watch Rugby on TV and lots of Skype with some SA Blanc de Noir last night

alright, everyone! we are in the middle of a very cold winter, and i'm wondering how everyone is staying active!?
personally, i have a variety of things on my plate. i love going to the gym - gets me out of the house and i really like the vibe at my gym, too (virgin active). at the moment, i'm doing the new rules of lifting for women, which involves lifting really heavy weights 2-3 times per week. the rest of the time, i might do some endurance cardio (running, cycling, rowing, etc.) if i go to the gym. otherwise, i LOVE my zumba dvds, and i have a couple dvds that i got from women's health magazine. i have to have variety, otherwise i get really bored, really quickly.
