One more thing I created a food item that I call AAABadBoy. If I eat something that is a no-no, I enter it as a serving of AAABadBoy which drives the bad food values up and motivates me to go conservative for the rest of the day. It works for me.
We live in South Texas and do not have readily access to processed food from South Africa. I look for the closest equivalent; Jerky for Biltong. I also use the "Add a Food Not Listed" on the "Add a Food" page to create items that go into "my Favorites" tab. For example my wife makes a pie modified from a Weigh Watchers recipe. I now have it in my favorites as "Lettie's Pie". Hope this will help.
Hi there! I dont always have the time or the proper information available to up load the food information. so i choose the one the seems the most similar to what ever it is i have eaten. But i probably should add the new foods ;)
Sorry, there is no easy way. Unless you only eat fresh produce ;)
It gets easier doing it over time. Be sure to add everything you manually put in to your favourites. After a while you have everything you always eat in there. (especially if you're a creature of habit, like me) Don't let it put you off. It is a great tool to have and use.
